#AVFC: Guzan, Clark, Baker, Okore, Hutton, Delph, Westwood, El Ahmadi, Richardson, Weimann, Agbonlahor

#avfc subs @WFCOfficial Given, Lowton, Senderos, Herd, Bennett, Stevens, Gardner, Bacuna, N'Zogbia, Tonev, Grealish, Robinson

Think that will be a 4-3-1-2 - sadly, with Clark playing LB again.

.................Guzan

Hutton, Okore, Baker, Clark

....Westwood.KEA.Delph

.............Richardson

.........Weimann.Gabby

Then again, it could be a 3-5-2

..........................Guzan

................Okore.Clark.Baker

Hutton.Westwood.KEA.Delph.Richardson

...................Gabby.Weimann

Vlaar not even on the subs bench - hope he appears for part of the Parma match!

No Darren Bent either.... is he off-ski?

3-5-2 then from the looks of it. And presumably our starting X1 by the looks of it too. Vlaar instead assuming he comes back obviously.

I still think N'Zogbia and Vlaar will replace either Baker or Clark and either Gabby or Weimann

Think we'll have a better idea Saturday against Parma but agree, the starting XI is practically out there tonight

Think Okore is getting extra minutes because of his injury and Senderos/Vlaar are still both not long back from Brazil, reckon second half we'll have Okore, Senderos and Vlaar as our back 3.

Not the strongest line up, would definitely start N'zogbia, but maybe we're trying to be careful not to injure him given that he's not played for so long until recently. Hopefully we'll give him and Grealish a go in the second half. I'd have liked to have seen Gardner gain some more minutes here too; it's about time we saw what he can do.

It appears Richardson wasn't signed as our lb or wing back. Seems weird to have him that attacking. Thought Nzog would've started as he only seems to come off the bench, hopefully just a fitness thing.

thing for me is, we have Clark playing LB tonight (allegedly) whilst having both Bennett and Stevens on the bench who both play left back.

Second half, if we change all of the starting XI we'll end up with a CB pairing of Senderos and Herd (!) and playing one of our LB's out of position.

I know pre-season is about fitness and getting game time under the belt but how about a bit of balance across the team?
