Ginko
Definitely one of a kind. Grew up with Bottom and loved his Lord Flashheart in Blackadder. Massive shame. Edited June 9, 2014 by Ginko

PieFacE Posted June 9, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted June 9, 2014 Drop Dead Fred has dropped Used to love that film growing up. Bit young for his other (and probably a lot better) work, but always respected him. Gutted

Didn't know he used to go to the Norbury Theatre, fair play for him for that, anything which is on there is shite
villaajax
I grew up on The Young Ones videos and Bottom, if it had Rik Mayall in it, I'd be watching it. It is a Christmas tradition in our house to watch the Christmas episode of Bottom. Rik Mayall is an absolute hero of mine. Barely a day would go by when I wouldn't think of some scene or line from one of his shows that would leave me with a grin on my face. Only yesterday the thought of this very scene was cracking me up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOxRKtIXArA I'm reading the news but it's not sinking in. Popular Post dAVe80
"I feel sorry for you, you zeroes. You nobodies. What’s going to live on after you die. I’ll tell you — nothing! That’s what! This house will become a shrine! And punks and skins and Rastas will all gather ’round and hold their hands in sorrow for their fallen leader! And all the grownups will say, “But why are the kids crying?’ And the kids will say, ‘Haven’t you heard? Rick is dead! The people’s poet is dead!” Then one particularly sensitive and articulate teenager will say, “Why kids? Do you understand nothing? How can Rick be dead when we still have his poems?!” Edited June 9, 2014 by dAVe80
