krisagg75 Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 my world cup bets are like a hookers knickers they just won't stop going down.recouped my dough on tennis though.don't know if anyone else has noticed but nadal has a habit of losing the 1st set in his matches.one of the few times he didn't was when he whitewashed murray in paris,you can get 11/4 on his opponent winning the 1st set so i've more than recouped my footie losses. Only one of the knock out games so far has had first half goals so far so killing me putting a quid on each team to score every 10 minutes and where are all the penalties and direct free kick goals this tournament? I actually have them down as favourites making those odds absurdly long to me. I had a wee bit on Algeria tonight. Of course logic said Germany win, but 10/1? I'm having that all day long. Had Sneijder any time goal scorer and Dos Santos any time but other than that nothing. Want to put USA on tonight, maybe USA first half Belgium second. Must admit I was twitching over the button when USA scored but managed to hold out in the end I cashed out when Belgium went 1 up. Holland to win and Greece vs Costa Rica to draw. 3 Goals in the final two minutes of those games made me £40 off a fiver!
