the only consolation is that Fulham dropped two points, but they have still gained a point on us. I expect us to only be three points clear by tomorrow evening, could even be less than that if Norwich get something tonight but just cant see it. lose next week and we are down imo. today will absolutely be a crushing blow.

Whilst the result was horrible, did people saying we played shit actually watch the match?

 

Their first goal was offside, second was a freak, we had really good spells in this game.

 

The result is horrible, our form is horrible, we are really loking down the barrell AGAIN. I'm not saying the situation isn't shit, but we actually looked decent for the majority of that game, some awfull defending for the third and Baker's assault in the penalty area turned it into a pasting but we didn't actually play shit, we were worse against the saints and drew that.

 

I watched all of the game and we gave up for the last 20 minutes.  Even if you take out those two goals we'd still have lost.  We looked decent in the first half, I think you're suffering from lowered expectations.

Defence shocking, beyond shocking. Some nice possession first half for 10-15 minutes but end product was awful aside from the goal. Weimann is awful this season, Gabby needs a strong partner otherwise he looks barely average and doesn't score enough goals. Delph had a below average game, Westy looked ok some of the time.

Lambert, I've always been a fan but seeing him today he's given in, he looks destroyed and the last six games that's reflected in the results. We haven't been good this season so I understand fans on his back but I always thought something was there that he would make us good. Seeing him today, we are too far gone and he's looks so lost so best we part ways......

I still think there's more wrong with Aston Villa than the manager.

But we need to do something, and I don't think we can justify Lambert at the club any longer. It isn't working. Whether that's all down to him is something we can argue about until the vows come home.

But the fact is, whatever is causing it, it is not working and its jeopardising our premier league status.
