Could it therefore be feasible they may still want us if the worst happens (Relegation) How does baseball work ? Are there transfer fees - relegation promotion ? You are right. Totally forgot about the Yu Darvish deal. International players (usually from Japanese baseball league) often demand transfer fees. Trent said 'something' about as vaguely as possible on here (no offence Trent, appreciate the info etc just making a point) and then this Admin guy was very specific about what was happening. On TBAR a Villa fan that says he has been a fan of the Texas Rangers since 1970's says that Tom Hicks (of Liverpool fame) dragged Davis/Simpson into buying the club at auction when he was desperate to sell. They weren't going all out to buy the Rangers off their own back, Hicks convinced them to go for it.
