Scored against us Pre-Season but stand out player that game was Bartłomiej Pawłowski on loan from Lodz!

Meant got £35mil release clause but they happy to sell around £5mil elsewhere on net

The current Valencia seems paralyzed as to close Transfer refers to the pending future sale of the club. However, Rufete still working, contemplating options, several alternatives depending on the money you have to sign it and continues groping players who considers desirable for a future project.

This is the case of Sergi Darder, midfielder 21 years of Málaga whose environment has already been approached by Valencia in order to know if he would make the team next season. This is a first step to sign the player in the future, since Valencia has not yet been contacted to start negotiations Malaga.
It is an international player in the ranks of the team already have several teams interested. In fact, Sevilla and Aston Villa are the main rivals to sign Darder if Valencia did not quickly settle the matter of the sale of the club and so unlock the sports grounds.
Sergi Darder, born in Arta, Mallorca, was formed in the quarry of Espanyol. The business went Málaga and brought it to its subsidiary before his debut in Cornella, and since then its progress has been very positive. So much so that Bernd Schuster assimilated him as one of the first team during the preseason and made his debut in First on the opening day, precisely at the Mestalla.
Darder is gained a place in the team and soon came to the Andalusian club offers. Siren sounded in the Premier League and the club have decided to shield the Spaniard for a possible exit. Malaga renewed his contract in November 2017 and passed clause 3 to 40 million euros, so output without negotiation with Malaga is unaffordable for Valencia.
Still, the specter of decline appeared in Malaga and led some teams to fish from approaching players who wished not play in the second division. Granada and Almería tried, but the player refused full. Espanyol also tried to get him in a trade for Thievy but refused malacitanos knowing that the midfielder will be worth more in the future.
Now, with Malaga practically saved, the situation is different. The Andalusians Player Darder think of the future, but it all depends on the position you want to force the player to take to go to another club. Those who know him well speak of him as a very complete midfielder, who plays both offensive and defensive midfielder, and, despite his youth, very focused when it comes to his personal life.
Although the season began holder, Schuster has dropped him to the branch on numerous occasions because I did not want to wear with the losing streak spanning the first team since the German believes that this year is a season of transition.

As a counter-attacking team, we probably shouldn't be signing players crafted out of granite.

Haven't seen enough to make a judgement but I remember watching him when they played Atleti a few months ago. Looked to have the required grittiness we all want to see in any new defensive-midfielder which is something I suppose.

The 19-year-old has broken into the Malaga first-team this season and has earned a call up to the Spanish Under-21 side.

And that has alerted both City and Spurs to the youngsters potential, with both English sides thought to be monitoring Darder's progress.

Reports in Spain suggest that City supremos Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain are well aware of Darder's talents from their time at Barcelona.

But FutbolBalear report that Tottenham have also been tracking Darder for months and could be willing to pay as much as £11m to bring the player to White Hart Lane.

However, Malaga are very keen to see Darder continue his development in Spain and become a cornerstone of their side.

Darder recently signed a new contract at Malaga that runs until June 2017 and contains a £33.5m release clause, which Los Boquerones insist is non-negotiable.

They must think something of him to put such a clause in his contract, a way of protecting him against the likes of Barca and such I assume.

-9 player on football manager...

i think its a case of young kid, broke in to the 1st team, link him with a prem club, get a new contract, good agent

personally i just dont see us buying a £5m 20 year old spanish kid, its too much of a gamble for yet another player who probably wont be ready

Maybe this could be a sign of the change of budget?? Instead of quantity... we now go for quality but signing 2-4 players instead of 6??

This summer will be very interesting!

This is the sort of link we got to Antonio Luna... completely out of the blue.... It would be an interesting signing, not seen anything of him.... Heard of the bit of hype when he came through into the first team.

True but boy do I wish I had never seen or heard of Antonio Luna!!

  • 3 months later...

Don't think there is any legs in this story.

Nor do I think he is the answer to our midfield problems - El Ahmadi Mark 2

Probably why no ones commented on it for 3 months...
