The quadrant rule is a joke.

What do you mean?

Chelsea had a corner and the shadow of the ball was on the quadrant. Clear cheating.

The whole of the ball has to be outside the whole of the line doesn't it? Like when it goes out or for a goal.

It's enough to be slightly overhanging the line but not actually touching it.

The linesman didn't flag at all. Surely if he saw it he should have been flagging like mad.

Very very strange incident

Do you recon it was the 4th official who called it on the mic from the dugout?

Are they even allowed to do that. Im not sure

The referee has admitted it was his mistake, not any of his assistants.

I'm more surprised that the media get to grill the officials at half time. He should have told them to **** off.

Michael Owen's view of an offside decision:

"Let's see if the lines man got it right.. well he's in line so I'd say he did get that one right"

Surely if he is in line, then he isn't offside, is he Michael?

I took that as him saying let's see if Schurlle was right to be moaning.

It's unbelievable that the meedja just assume anyone who has played football is suitable for a commentary/pundit job when they're almost always simple minded idiots who can't speak in anything other than clichés.

They've even got Ian Wright pitchside, and that moron can barely pronounce his own name.
