Summer Speculation 2014

Why on loan.  Why Villa not go back in with 8 mill?  Is there a better chance of getting a Loan passed than a purchase?

Because Tom doesn't want to commit to the club long term he wants to join Everton in January

He must think Christmas has come early not only is he going to avoid the reserves at Manure he's going to get his dream move and get first team football to prepare himself for it in the process

I dont mind a player on loan who is going to be out of contract.  They will certainly be trying their best to get a big bumper deal come next summer.

The big bumper deal will certainly not be with us as soon as Martinez comes calling he's off

Would rather just play Richardson at least he's committed his future to us and wants to wear the shirt

You don't know any of that though. Everton dicked him around last night, pulled the rug from under him.

The fact that he still wants to play football rather than ride it out on United's bench like so many would speaks volumes. The people who attacked his character last night are now simply trying to save face.

Isn't the fact that Everton messed him about just as "verified" as the fact he was demanding excessive wages? As both have been reported through various media.

Yet your spouting one off as fact and the other is un-founded.

The fact remains that we made a bid which was accepted days before the window closed with Lambert saying after the Hull game that there was not any movement

He wasn't jumping through hoops to get a move here multiple sources claimed that we were very much his second choice club the only reason he's coming here is because the Everton deal fell through and its either us or the Manure reserves

Yes I am in this camp on this one a bit.

But part of me also thinks stuff it if he improves us then why not its a professional game after all players do not buy into clubs with emotions they are mercenaries the end of the day and if lambert gets someone he wants to improve us why the f not

I'd imagine if it's a loan it'll be with a big fee and therefore some indication he'll sign for us on a bosman next summer essentially making it a transfer now just going about it a different way.

Not if there is no fee agreed for after the loan deal expires.
