Ghost
This could be the killer app that next gen needs (IMO). I would seriously consider getting a PS4 for this.

hogso
Some wonderful tidbits of info coming out about this today; - Release date is expected to be 14th October in US, could be a worldwide release, or the following Friday here (17th) - 'Arkham Knight' refers to a new, never before seen supervillian who has been created specifically for the game a one of the comic book writers - Geoff Johns, if that means anything to anyone - The game world will be about 5 times bigger than Arkham City, comprised of 3 islands - No multiplayer, focus remains soley on single player - Fights with up to 50 mobs at a time - Slight tweaks to the combat allow mid air quickfire gadgets, and new counters - The Batmobile will be very important, and is designed to be 'the best car in any game ever' - Graphics will make the game look as much like pre-rendered CGI as possible, with the polygon count for one character being the same as for the whole the Arkham Asylum environment (!). - As such, it was only ever going to be a next gen game, simply not possible to even consider it for development on PS3/360 - Will be the last Arkham game, and the last Batman Rocksteady game, although it will likely not be the last Batman game, so expect another one from WB Games Montreal who developed Arkham Origins. Suggests to me at least that the possibilities are open for another game by Rocksteady in the DC Universe.
Kwan
Glad they considered it as next gen only. I only ever played asylum but I might pick this up when it comes out.

samjp26
So is Batman becoming a yearly thing like FIFA now? Arkham Asylum (2009), Arkham City (2011), Arkham Knight (2014) is what many will see as the Arkham trilogy made by Rocksteady games. Hardly a yearly thing and Arkham Origins (2013) could be seen as a spinoff as such I guess, it was made by a different development team and is a prequel to the other games. The_Rev
- 'Arkham Knight' refers to a new, never before seen supervillian who has been created specifically for the game a one of the comic book writers - Geoff Johns, if that means anything to anyone Forgive me for being cynical, but Arkham Knight refers to the fact that Arkham Asylum was a critically acclaimed game with sales figures to match, so the publisher of these games will now insist that the word 'Arkham' is crowbarred into the title of every sequel to the original game.
