The Boring Thread

I have one row of books in front of another with books stacked on top of those and books running along the top of another bookcase.

I ordered another 6 books last night as well :(

On the subject of books, I saw one on Amazon that took my interest, about the Dutch Empire in Indonesia that's due to be published later this year. It's priced at £110! It's actually published by the company I work for so I'd get 50% off but that's still £55 for a book

I've packed down most of my books as we're moving houses in a little more than a month. But of the few that is left:

Jeffrey Deaver "The burning wire" and

Liza Marklund "Lyckliga gatan" (The happy street). Both criminals.

Let's all name the top left and bottom right books on our bookshelves.

The Centaur - John Updike

Watership Down - Richard Adams

So very boring.

top left: Holmes' Principles of Physical Geology, 4th Edition - D Duff

bottom right: Elements of Form and design in Classical Architecture - Stratton

I think I win!

I'm in the living room right now, I'll report from the dining room soon.....

I was going to play but 'Images of Britain' was bottom right and that's boring.

Hang about. Which bookshelf? There are two in this room alone, many more in other rooms.

But for the sake of argument I'll pick one at random.

Top left: Peter Ackroyd - Hawksmoor

Bottom right: Gunter Grass - The Rat

I've just bought some babycorn that I'll cook later on today with some quick-fry steak.  This is formerly before taking an outing by which I will be operating a motor vehicle to travel to my accommodation for the next four days.
