villalad21
Cardiff (A) - Win Newcastle (A) - Lose Norwich (H) - Win Man City (A) - Lose Chelsea (H) - Lose Stoke (H) - Draw Man U (A) - Lose Fulham (H) - Draw Palace (A) - Win Southampton (H) - Draw Swansea (A) - Draw Hull (H) - Win Spurs (A) - Lose So I reckon that's 43 points, I think we'll be safe, and there are definitely 3 worse teams than us in this division imo. You really think we'll go unbeat in 5 games. Can't see that happening tbh. Everytime we play a good match, we seem to go on a bad run afterwards
MessiWillSignForVilla
Yes, they're winnable games, one of the reasons I think we'll get 3 draws in that period, and you could have said the same thing last season when we went on our little burst. Yes, but i do think teams have figured us out now, besides a handful of players are not performing at the same level as last year, so your prediction is highly unrealistic. foreveryoung
All this speculation. If we were this good we would'nt be in the shite in the first place. A win at Palace an Cardiff, ya reckon?? A draw at Newcastle I doubt that, Hull and Swansea maybe, though I wish I had your faith.

VillaChris
Our run in isn't that bad. Fulham could be down by the time we play them in April and likes of Hull and Swansea will probably be safe in mid table. Compare that to Norwich who are still below us and last 4 four are Liverpool and Arsenal at home and Chelsea and Man. United away. Compare that to West Ham who's last two are Spurs at home and Man. City away. Cardiff have Chelsea home last day aswell.

KjParton
Fulham (H) - Palace (A) - Southampton (H) - Swansea (A) - Hull (H) - Spurs (A) - Thats really not a bad run in. On our good days we can beat 5 of those 6.
Cliffy Biro
We need atleast 3-4 from the next 3 games, i was hoping for 6 from the 4 games but we all know what happened today. Amazing how quickly it can turn from comfortable to worried, hopefully it switches back to nearer comfort in the next week or so.

Avflife
Cardiff (A) - 3 Newcastle (A) - 0 Norwich (H) - 3 Man City (A) - 0 Chelsea (H) - 0 Stoke (H) - 1 Man U (A) - 0 Fulham (H) - 3 Palace (A) - 1 (being very generous) Southampton (H) - 1 Swansea (A) - 1 Hull (H) - 1 Spurs (A) - 0 Can only realistically see us getting another 14 points this season and out of those 10 (think Hull will be fine) against teams around us in the table. SeanO
Once again we find ourselves concerned about the drop, how many seasons do we have to put up with this? If Paul Lambert is given a new contract at VP then I know that Lerner's only remit to the manager is to survive as long as possible on a shoe string (football wise as I know the money being spent is ridiculous). After the Liverpool and Albion games I thought maybe just maybe Lambert has started to understand what works then due to his stupidity he set's the team up to get a point at Everton which judging by yesterday's awful performance has knocked the team's fragile confidence. Play like we have the last 2 games and we will not get another point this season.
Villarocker
11 points for me. Still think it will be enough, but only just. Cardiff, Fulham and Norwich or West Brom are my tips to go down. Can't see us getting anything from the next two games . Biggest concern is getting Vlaar back on the pitch!
romavillan Posted February 9, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted February 9, 2014 Cardiff (A) - 3 Newcastle (A) -1 Norwich (H) - 1 Man City (A) - 0 Chelsea (H) - 0 Stoke (H) - 1 Man U (A) - 0 Fulham (H) - 3 Palace (A) - 3 Southampton (H) - 0 Swansea (A) - 3 Hull (H) - 1 Spurs (A) - 0 16 points from the last 14 games leaving us with 43 points and safely mid table. AValon
Not overly optimistic for sure. Then again, its not unknown for us to pull out one of the big ones to confuse the issue. Lambert. now, has to be tactically on the button and pull off some results, no matter how ugly. I'm still puzzled, though, how Lerner can see this as a satisfactory state of affairs. The man allegedly wants to sell up, yes? I'm no business tycoon, but even I understand that selling a fairly succesful club is a whole lot easier than flogging an also ran, or even a Championship side! Adam_
Could be worse, could have Norwich's last 4 games which are: Liverpool (H) Man U (A) Chelsea (H) Arsenal (A) I think they may well go down! Can see Fulham going down too.... just the third team I can't decide on.
Adam_
As for my predictions: Cardiff (A) DRAW Newcastle (A) LOSE Norwich (H) DRAW Man City (A) LOSE Chelsea (H) LOSE Stoke (H) WIN Man U (A) LOSE Fulham (H) WIN Palace (A) DRAW Southampton (H) LOSE Swansea (A) LOSE Hull (H) DRAW Spurs (A) DRAW Which is 11 points!
