That drops us to 11th as it stands.

 

On level points with a game in hand, a win tomorrow and we could be 5 points away from Southampton. It also keeps Fulham stuck at the foot of the table. Results are going our way IMO.

Yep agreed. A Newcastle win would be nice too.

Nah, not for me anyway. It keeps them somewhat reachable in terms of position, which is nice to know if we end up going on a late surge like last season. That said, I wouldn't be fussed if they did win as it would keep those farmers at bay.

Why has it become acceptable to say "clever because he played for the penalty and created the contact" it used to be called cheating

That's a dive. Not as bad as the Suarez one on Guzan, but that's a dive.

Yep, he's hit the ball out of the way and made little attempt to clear the keeper.

 

They'll say justice was done, meaning no further comment about how the penalty was 'won'.
