wedge
Hopefully there should be a cracking atmosphere for this one, with a gate towards 40,000. VP is the only place that Albion take more than 2,000 to so they will sell out you'd hope!
markavfc40
I doubt it will be anywhere near 40k unfortunately. There are still loads of seats left in the upper Holte, upper Trinity and the Witton Lane stand. Unless there is a big rush for tickets in the next few days then I think it will be around 36k. Its a shame if that is the case but I guess it is down to the very poor home form. Edited January 25, 2014 by markavfc40
KjParton
37k i reckon. EDIT: Here's what WM police reckons the projected attendance will be: Aston Villa WMPolice @WMPVillaFCJan 24 @edsmall36 Still at present looking @ somewhere between 37,000 and 38,000, but it would b nice 2 #packthepark, atmosphere is great @ 40,000+ Edited January 25, 2014 by KjParton

The Fun Factory
It's nowhere near the blues game and in the past we have had gates of only 33-34ish for it ie it is just another game for most Villa fans. Plus its midweek at the fag end of January in which no one has any money no matter what dave aston villa cameron says.

VillaChris
Last two seasons we've played them on weekends and the attendance has been around 35k, with it being midweek think it will be around that figure again.
R.I.C.O.
A lot of people (like me) get paid tomorrow at long last so who knows, there could be a last minute rush.
Electric Avenue
I think this May edge 40k
VillaChris
No chance...we only got 37k for Arsenal so I really can't see an extra 3k on top. We don't really tend to get 40k + attendances against WBA anymore...check out our last few attendances against them.
Electric Avenue
Just a hunch based on not playing at home for a while and people getting paid after Xmas
Jimzk5
Also the last dozen times we've played the game was televised, this is the first one since 2005 that won't be on tv, that might stick a few k on the gate Edited January 26, 2014 by Jimzk5

Villansince93
If it was blues would be 40k but this match everytime I've gone to it just seems like another normal match for us anyway. They care about it loads as I know through a West Brom Uncle we don't so to get 38k would be a great effort from the fans on a Wednesday.

Yep, to us its just like playing a team like Fulham. 37k would be a decent crowd.
