Yup, he grabs it and it just kinda flops/moves as if it was in two pieces. Horrible stuff, hope he recovers because he had been having a decent season, poor lad.

 

One things for sure, its the end of that season for him!

It looks like his leg just got to where the ball was and the Stevenage player has kicked his leg.

 

To be fair it wasn't malicious, he was just trying to get a shot off and Oviedo actually did well to get in front of him. The pitch is bloody awful as well.

Horrible red card given in Juventus' match. Buffon conceded a PK but Klose was going away from goal.

I suppose by letter of the law buffon was the last man

It's not really as simple as that. It's supporting evidence for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity. It's often likely that if there's only the goalkeeper  left it is going to be an obvious goalscoring opportunity, but there's nothing that says if the last man commits a foul, it has to be a red.
