Sylla and KEA probably shouldn't be first team players, but we work with what we have.

Could have won, could have lost; at the end can't be happy or sad with a draw really.

That dive though...

I though KEA played well in the first half. He is at his best when we move the ball quickly though.

Most of us would have sold that game for a point, so ... we got a point. It's just so annoying, being up 2 goals to then concede just before half time and then from that chating word removed Suarez diving ...

I thought we'd fall apart after they came back to 2-2, so am personally very happy with the one point (in the end).

MOTM ... I saw SKY gave it to Vlaar .. he is outstanding. Gabby was great too.

That's what we should be about? Everyone put in a shift there.

Shame we lost Gabby as I think we'd have scored more. Should have won but I'd have taken that at the start of the game.

One things for sure we have proved there that these players are capable. Holt did ok when he came on as well.

game changed when gabby went off, so did our style of play

then resorting to our normal crap play

we deserved to get all 3 points but as soon as holt comes on, we cant do anything, no pace, nothing to offer really, did the odd flick but cant run and heading means he needs to get off the ground.

first half everyone gets a decent 8

second half was a different story, gabby injured and panic sets in

ref? really don't know how he can get away with that second half performance

every 50/50 goes to the scum, every 60/40 to us goes to the scum

no doubt bbc will be creaming over the skill of suarez diving and say It is the keepers fault for making refs make a decision

KEA is the only player that makes runs from midfield into the box. We need him for that, although it would be great to have a player that could do it more effectively.

When are people gonna stop lauding Suarez and see him for what he is...a cheat! Terrible example to young footballers and glad he didn't score. Sooner he goes to Real Madrid and gets out of this league the better.

Vlaar was awesome, Benteke was back to almost his best and we missed Gabby when he came off. Holt played some nice touches too. Bertrand had a good debut too.

Worry was Bacuna....thought his performance dropped off a lot in the second half....

Excellent first half. System was ruined when gabby had to go off. Not a slant on Holt, we just can't play with 2 big men.

Dive was despicable. No surprise that the sky commentators just glosses over it, same with the Sturridge punch.

Draw was probably right but a shame we couldn't hang on.

Bacuna looked poor again today. He's not good enough

Gabby MOTM

Gutsy performance, very pleased with the result, even though we were 2-0 up. We all knew they'd come back, it was always going to be about not losing, and we didn't.

Massive away point at a top club, 2 goals on the trot for Benteke, Weimann's best game this season, Bertrand very good, Holt fluffed his first chance, but he was probably feeling pressure in front of the Villa supporters.

A turning point?

Good result although gutted to lose a 2 goal lead but didn't help that the cheating tosspot Suarez bought a pen. Proud if the lads, holt did a decent enough job and Betrand looks a massive improvement.

Plus Bentekes scoring streak continues.
