samjp26 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 The teams shitter than us are winning and will strengthen in January. We are getting worse and won't strengthen. We're ****. And we can't say it hasn't been coming.
HongKongVillan Posted December 26, 2013 VT Supporter Posted December 26, 2013 Not many teams get away with 4 straight years of relegation fight - this could well be the year
Spoony Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Well we can't beat the worst teams in the league. Not looking good
villaglint Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Without a doubt we're in for another big battle have been for some time. Trekkers got us out of it last time. Really need that player back and Vlaar too.
Big_John_10 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Thank God we got rid of Doug so we could experience 4 relegation battles in a row. 4
Hanky Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Unless something changes we will be relegated. Whether it is this season or next. The whole club is rotten from top to bottom. 1
Villarocker Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Lerner and co have turned us into the Coventry City of the 90s and Wigan of the 00's. Both have fallen through the trap door and we'll follow one day, if this shambles continues!
caw2510 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 If the worst did happen. How many would actually leave?
AndyM3000 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 (edited) Someone get on the blower to Robbie Keane. I dont care how old he is, stick him that gap, he is the type of player we badly need. He saved us before, we are heading that way. Its depressing as hell. Edited December 26, 2013 by AndyM3000
Guest av1 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 If the worst did happen. How many would actually leave? I'd say on Guzan, benteke and Delph would attract any interest (I believe gabby would stay) says it all really.Someone get on the blower to Robbie Keane. I believe keane is out injured for most of the mls break.
Rugeley Villa Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Yes we will be in a relegation battle for the 4th year on trott
villabromsgrove Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I've looked at what Lambert currently puts out on the pitch both tactically and player personnel and I have to say that it's probably not going to get any better without a drastic change. If I were Lambert I would be shouting one word at Lerner over the next five days …. WAGES !!!! Randy has to be made to understand that it is worth spending up to £60 million pounds in January on both transfer fees and WAGES in order to remain a Premiership club. Personally I'm not going to hold my breath!

BleedClaretAndBlue Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I remember buying my shirt when Lerner took over, and it had that stupid "proud history, bright future" on the neck. What a lie 1
AndyM3000 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 There's a new one coming out soon. Proud history, tight future. 1
Guest Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 (edited) This is my last post in this section for a while. I'm witnessing the death of my club, slowly turning into a team that has nothing positive about it, from the top down it is rotten and that rot set in through bad decisions and a lack of care. My club hurts me so much, I find myself in petty arguments with other fans here, because no matter how we differ, we are frustrated and we hurt. I blame one man for the state of this club, but the apathy that surrounds is part of what has allowed the rot to set in. We were glamarised with shiny things and this his the negatives for so long, this hurts. I'm sticking to OT for now. With this comes an apology to anybody I have argued with. I'll never stop loving this club and that is what hurts me so much. UTV, TWMA. Edited December 26, 2013 by dodgyknees

Lambert knows what could be achieved here.
Spoony Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 If we were relegated, this team would not hold their own in the Championship.

I think that that was correct until the losses against Fulham, Stoke and now Palace. Until now he was happy to go along with Randy's amateur Wage assassination programme because he honestly believed we would stay up and it would make him look like a miracle worker. That is no longer an option.
