chrisp65
It’s the future! Stocking up on those Mcartney mozzarella burgers this morning. This evening, it’s either chilli or lasagne and that’ll probably be 50/50 soya and mince beef. and celery, obviously. So spent yesterday procuring a fantastic array of spices and whipped up a nice turkey jalfrezi last night. There’s some brilliant recipes in it, street food, classic curries and British Indian restaurant dishes. I’ve made up 3 litres of base sauce and a tub of special spice mix, ready to try a plethora of dishes. My wife will be pleased that her sense of smell still hasn’t returned The Curry Guy books are really decent!

Popular Post It's Your Round
Just made my first batch of mango habanero chilli sauce. Tastes wonderfully fruity with a rip your throat out kick. Only made half a bottle as nobody else will want to try it.

I'd really recommend the chicken Zafrani on Pg76 (which doesn't need the base sauce) but to be honest, they're all good. I have all of his books but with the bible one, you get a good mix of all of them, along with new recipes!

We had it in Goa a couple of years ago and would love to make it myself.

sidcow Posted December 29, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted December 29, 2020 I've made a turkey Curry tonight to finish off the turkey. Tomorrow night is stir-fry with noodles which I just cannot stand so I will be having the leftover curry which is just about a decent sized portion.
