I know they are subsidiaries of Yum! (maybe just in this country) but no idea if there is a link to Pepsi.

I'm in Belgium, went to an Indian restaurant, it's a thing in Germany and seemingly here that they have restaurants that "specialise" in Indian and Italian, chef is Indian so I have Indian of course

Had a chicken tikka masala and a cheese naan, CTM was really really good, rich and oily so almost definitely a nut paste base, I'd guess cashew, not as creamy as bright red as our standard, naan bread was a disaster though, very doughy not really a naan at all

Pan seared chicken breast

Salt, pepper, EVOO rub

Seared and finished in oven

Sliced and crisped up back in the pan

Pan deglazed with white wine

Garnished with parsley

Dipping sauce of:

Habanero peppers x2

Serrano pepper

Onion, garlic

Avocado

Orange juice

HOTTTTTTTT! Tasty late night snack and really spicy.

You live by the sea and have fish and chips in London?

Want one of their pies now. Been a while.

It’s because they’re one of the few places that have rock fish on the menu, and even fewer that can cook it properly.

Add in to that the ambience of a Soho chippy (allow me the artistic license!) with a bag of records under my arm (ok, under the table) and it’s just one of my fave experiences.

My mum worked in a chippy when I was a kid. I was built on dogfish.

I’m not getting much advance notice on the London visits at the moment, need to organise something once the weather’s less damp.

Do miss their pies.

Miss working in the West End, but Soho's fallen away and home has randomly become one of the best places to eat in London.

We have a Kennedy's now.

Rock's on the menu, though I've not tried it

I’ll be after a sleepover.

You should come for food anyway, it's knockout.

Rodney's Suite is a double room that comes with a complete drum kit, Samba drum and a choice of sticks, mallets or brushes. It also boasts amplifiers from Orange and Polytone, a Bluetooth HiFi and a near 1:1 scale Chinese Junk.

It's F.O.C. but gets busy peak season.

Desi grill at covered wagon on yardley wood road. Quality food in a comfortable environment. Large mixed grill, chilli fish pakoras, masala chips, cheese chilli naans and butter chicken curry.

Well worth the trip across town.

Tavë kosi  a sort of Albanian Mousaka -

Quote

Tavë kosi is a national dish in Albania, but I only had it once, at a restaurant at the top of a mountain pass at Llogara. I wasn’t predisposed to like it. Lamb with rice and yoghurt doesn’t immediately appeal, but it turned out to be very good indeed, the same sort of dish as moussaka.

Rick Stein

BBC with recipe

The missus decided to do it with minced lamb instead

Went to a great Turkish restaurant in cologne last night

Had iskender kebab which is my favourite, big plate of beef kebab meat (really good quality too) sat on top of croutons so all the fat drips through and softens them up, covered in a tomato sauce which is flavoured with something and then a big dolop of yoghurt on the side

Did the bloke come round after with a pan of melted butter to pour on top?

Had chicken tikka masala, boiled rice and a naan last night. Lovely!

Coming out of me like a leaky tap today.

I was fine with the vindaloo last weekend, aside from a painful spicy piss the next morning

Kunefe is my favourite ever dessert with a dollop of kaymak on top.

Keeping it simple for my first go. Testing out my egg cooker gismo and it has a thing for 'poached eggs'. Odd shape but it all goes down the gullet.

It'll be a bit of trial and error but not far off. Back when I used to fry eggs I'd have 1 round of toast per egg, at least this way I'm cutting down on bread and no grease.
