useless
And yet I still i didn't say that One of Us, was one of their lesser well known tracks, although to be fair you could probably say that it is compared to songs like Dancing Queen, Momma Mia, Winner Takes It All, and so on. Rugeley Villa
They were great for what they were. I enjoy some of their songs.
AJ
I thought they were...ok. Benny and Bjorn are great songwriters though. They wrote the " Chess" soundtrack, which I quite enjoy. Edited June 12, 2019 by AJ
veloman
Not really an ABBA fan but some of their numbers are ace if you are a musician. For example :- 'Mamma Mia' and 'Does your mother know' are great numbers to play if you are trying to get the audience to dance . Both have single note bass lines, I think ( as a former drummer) ,which can inject some energy if the bass player plays 'em. If you play in a "function band",as I did for many years, it would be no good playing Steely Dan numbers - even though you might want to !!
