R.I.C.O.
We have to end this poor run somewhere. Hopefully we can get a win today. Another loss would really start to get me worried.

Mattyp_avfc
Hoping Tonev gets a game? He's showed glimpses when he's played and if Gabby's out we need a speed demon for counter attacking...
Electric Avenue
Tonev has looked shocking if you ask me.
smetrov
I fear the defence will be Bacuna-Clark-Vlaar-Baker - If that's the case I m predicting a 4-1 defeat - I really don't rate Clark - he doesn't do enough to influence a game in our favour I would go Lowton-Baker-Vlaar-Bacuna

KHV
I think this game could be quite dull. West Ham will nick it with a penalty
daggy_333
This will be an interesting one. West Ham played something like a very narrow 4-2-2-2 formation against Swansea yesterday without any recognised striker playing. Though you'd think they might try something a bit more proactive at home. I expect them to probably go for 4-5-1 with Cole up front. With that in mind, I'd go for a sort of 4-2-3-1: Guzan Bacuna Vlaar Baker Lowton* Sylla Delph Tonev KEA Gabby Benteke *I assume Luna is out for this. Can't decide on the result, so I'll just go for the draw, 1-1. Gabby for us and someone like Nolan (crap celebration included) for them. Gabby is out. Also I'm sure I read that Cole won't start as he has no match fitness.

AVTuco Posted November 2, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) I think Marc's already gone on loan to Wigan. Oh yeah? Not one of my brightest moments But I think we'll squeeze out a narrow win 0-1 or 1-2. Edited November 2, 2013 by AVTuco
PaulC
I don't think Gabby is as big a miss as some think. His form has been poor and he hasn't scored this season. Weimann, Benteke and Tonev have pace. Its a good chance to see how we can preform without Gabby.

If they played 4-5-1 id be more tempted to play 3-5-2 Kozak Benteke up front Kozak is pretty good defensively from what ive seen im sure he used to be a CB before he became a striker or something like that We would also get extra height from set pieces
smetrov
Clark has been our best CB so far. Up until last sat saturday - he had been much improved granted. but last Saturday thought he was very average and lost lukaku for the goal. If he plays a blinder and we keep a clean sheet fine - but I suspect he will at best be, a non entity
