Well wasn't that fun again?

Should have been 3-3  first half but the keepers were top class. Missing a pen is criminal and I knew it was gonna be one of those days.

We also know that Villa can only play one half any good and again we stunk the place out second half.

Midfield is utterly wank. Delph is continuously MotM because everyone else is cack. Westwood is a waste of a shirt. Weimann couldn't hit a Ford Escort with a missile launcher. Gabby was invisible again.

Four defeats from five home games is relegation form. I don't care who the opposition is. Will people make excuses if we lose to Cardiff, Southampton or Swansea?

Masses of empty seats again in the North Lower, and it's only gonna get worse. Watching Villa is **** depressing.

Yes. They all spent more then us in the summer, so we have no right to expect to beat any of them.

Guzan 7- Not sure he could've done much about either goal. Made a great save from Lukaku first half.

Bacuna 8- Continues to look solid in this position, although I hope his future is further forward.

Vlaar 8.5*- Very good on the ball for a centre half.

Baker 8- Up and at it in the first half, unfortunately he was shifted left after Luna's injury.

Luna 7.5- Good first half.

Delph 8.5- Another good performance, terrific on the ball. He needs better support though.

Westwood 6- I'm finding he isn't quick or brainy enough on the ball. Looked pedestrian against the likes of Barry and Osman, particularly after picking up a knock.

Tonev 6.5- An odd move to remove him, just as he was growing into the game.

Agbonlahor 4- Lacking confidence and sharpness, and another poor miss which cost us. Ended up dropping deep as the midfield went missing.

Weimann 5- Endeavoured, but please play the guy in position or give him a rest.

Benteke 4- Bad day at the office for the big man. Missed pen, another bad miss just afterwards. Not in the game and lacked fitness.

Clark - I feel he was slow across for the opener

Helenius - Twice got the ball (I think), both times doing something great, followed by something atrocious.

Everton are a good side. If you don't take your chances they will most likely punish you, and that is what happened. I hope they finish above ManUre this year. I don't have too many complaints about the first half, but I thought Benteke's fitness and Luna's injury cost us a little. They have better players. Barry still has a lot to offer, and Westwood will have to do some improving to reach his level. I didn't think we had enough on the bench, and I didn't envy Lambert in that respect. Everton did.

No poise or composure to our play. Everything we try is at 100 mph and we look horribly rushed. We'll never score goals like Everton's two as a consequence.

No idea what Vlaar is doing for their first goal. Charges into midfield to put pressure on Pienaar who has his back to goal. As soon as he does that one pass through completely kills us because there's a huge gap behind him. Exactly the same for Arsenal's goal on opening day. So frustrating.

Luna 7.5- Good first half.

Seriously?

I was just about to ask the same. EVERYTHING Everton did came down our left due to Luna going completely AWOL. Even the commentators kept going on about it

Delph motm?  :crylaugh: It's a broken record in here **** hell.

Also, Barry is still an incredible footballer. We should have tried to buy him never mind loan, and give him any wages he **** wants.

Barry incredible? Have you ever seen Zlatan Ibrahimovic play?

Completely different players. I don't really see how that's relevant though?

You said Barry is incredible, I say he is far from it....

Delph MOTM for Villa ... again ... he has really become a great player. The only positive really (with Guzan maybe) for this season. God, it's depressing.

If it hadn't been for the most flukish of flukes against City, we would be 5 loses for 5 at home.

As much as I like Lambert, I am beginning to feel, he doesn't get the best out of the players, we have. And playing Benteke injured is just dumb. Keeping Weimann in the starting 11, is just dumb.

I thought we could maybe finish 10 or so. But it's *fingers crossed*, we aren't relegated. Hopefully CP and Sunderland will continue to struggle, so there's only one more team to go down. *sighs* *depressed* *tiredofexcuses*

Any form or momentum we had has long since gone and Lambert needs to make some hard decisions.

Gabby doesn't seem fit or as sharp as he was at the start, I have also no idea where he is meant to be playing and neither does he.

Weimann has to be dropped.

Tonev looked fairly decent at times and really tries to pass forward creatively and put at least two decent crosses in, but he still can't shoot for toffee and is totally static when not on the ball.

Benteke clearly isn't fit, his first touch has been dreadful since he came back.

I like Bacuna but I think we need to try him and Lowton on the right - as we miss what Lowton offers going forward.

Westwood - tried hard today but even at full throttle he is average.

Delph - so much energy and dribbling speed and yet he never does anything with it.

Luna - starting to lose patience with this guy, he offers powderpuff defensive cover and sod all going fwd. Bring back Bennett.

Baker - slow and out of position

Clark - thought he had turned a corner until the mess up today

Vlaar - was having an awesome game then the goal happened.

Helenius - needs to start or get more than ten mins, not convinced he will do anything if he does - just saying.

The luck has totally deserted us.
