  1. 5ft10 I think. Mcleish said it in the press that he's grown a lot more this year than he was at the start of the year.
  2. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9809733/Aston-Villa-eyeing-30million-swoop-Bayer-Leverkusen-star-Leon-Bailey.html
  3. After going to the Villa U23 vs Reading U23 last night, 16 year old Kaine Kesler reminded me in style of play of a young Ashley Cole but on the right side! He has good potential!!! He was in my view Villa u23's best player on the pitch last night vs Reading and linked up really well with Tyreik Wright a number of times. Kesler bombed forward whenever he could always trying to make things happen and looks to have a very good attitude too. Definitely will be following how he does! Has anyone else seen him play? thoughts
  4. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/07/12/aston-villa-poised-complete-15m-signing-douglas-luiz-manchester/?WT.mc_id=tmg_share_tw Another one out of the blue? A bit worried about that buyback clause though.
  5. Considering so many have asked for it and he's dominating other threads here is a thread for the next Aston Villa signing a link as well https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tammy-abraham-aston-villa-transfer-20914606
  6. Another youngster signed a professional contract last week, Don't know much about him but think we will have some of the best youth in the country in a few seasons time. Can only be positive Aston Villa youngster Jaden Philogene-Bidace has signed a professional contract with the club. Jaden, 18, a versatile wide player who can play on either side, joined in January 2018 and became a regular for Villa’s Under-18s. He duly broke into the club’s Under-23s last season and put in some impressive performances. Congratulations on your professional deal, Jaden! https://www.avfc.co.uk/News/2020/08/14/philogene-bidace-contract
  7. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/12611741/arsenal-martinez-transfer-aston-villa-brentford-raya/ "ASTON VILLA have launched a £20million bid for Arsenal keeper Emiliano Martinez -" Would love to see this one come to fruition - would arsenal sell and could we afford his wages.
  8. a-k

    Keinan Davis

Makes the bench today. 17 year old who we signed on professional terms in December. Anyone know anything about him?!
  9. Probably needs its own thread now on his way to Villa for a medical according to sky Hopefully first of a few today
  10. Very excited by this! John Percy usually on the money too
  11. https://theathletic.com/news/ashley-young-aston-villa-transfer/GLsPEH4XZjSd athletic saying we enquiring about Ashley Young as versatile full back option. still a good player playing at a high level. 35 though
  12. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-academy-carney-chukwuemeka-17778789
  13. Thoughts? would love this to happen very good player https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfer-el-ghazi-15054788
  14. Tom13

    Louie Barry

The kid who left WBA for Barca in the summer. Apparently very close to signing him.
  15. John McGinn: Aston Villa keen to sign Hibernian midfielder BBC. Anyone know much about him?
  16. Apparently, this guy is the holy grail of transfers..
  17. Mail + French sites reporting we’re in for this chap. I know nothing about him. He’s a RW and we need one of those I suppose...
  18. Seems a wee bit random to be nothing but hot air... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jun/06/aston-villa-set-to-make-move-for-southamptons-james-ward-prowse-transfer-window Thoughts?
  19. It’s been reported a couple of times now and Ornstein seems to think we’ll fight it out with Arsenal for his signature. As such, I thought it deserved its own thread. Discuss..
  20. Percys story about Jack from this morning has been updated from the 'more to follow' it ended with earlier. This is the new bits, linking us to Sarr https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2021/07/30/exclusive-manchester-city-make-jack-grealish-transfer-bid-100million/
  21. Done according to twitter dude who has only ever been wrong on Bryan. And we know how close that came. He's tall.
  22. Don't see a thread for him yet, close to being man of the match tonight. Composed on the ball and Targett like defensively. Unlucky with the OG.
  23. On the bench today for the first time. Can't say I know too much about him but think he is highly thought of by the club. Good luck to him Hopefully Indiana is his real name and not his dogs
