  3. Son of Unai Emery Goalkeeper. 20. Any good?
  4. Aston Villa is pleased to announce the signing of Tim Iroegbunam. The midfielder, 18, joins Villa's Academy from West Bromwich Albion, where he came through the ranks after joining their Under-8s. Iroegbunam has attended England age group training camps in the past and Academy manager Mark Harrison believes he has a bright future. Harrison said: “Tim is an athletic midfielder who is technically very good. “He has the ability to play as a holding midfielder or a box-to-box midfielder, who can contribute in both penalty areas. “Tim has a lot of potential and we look forward to seeing him develop over the next few years.” AVFC
  5. 19 Year Old Left Back. On the bench today against Lille in the quarter finals on the Conference League. Isn't he Declan Rice's cousin?
  6. Better than Luke & Stefan?
  7. Only sixteen but has already played ten plus times for our U21s for whom he has looked very impressive, Scotland U17 international, and has been training with our first team
  8. After going to the Villa U23 vs Reading U23 last night, 16 year old Kaine Kesler reminded me in style of play of a young Ashley Cole but on the right side! He has good potential!!! He was in my view Villa u23's best player on the pitch last night vs Reading and linked up really well with Tyreik Wright a number of times. Kesler bombed forward whenever he could always trying to make things happen and looks to have a very good attitude too. Definitely will be following how he does! Has anyone else seen him play? thoughts
  9. Midfielder signed from Nottingham Forest, played for their U18s and U21s last season as a fifteen year old and also got three caps for England U16s. He's a first year scholar.
  10. Seems that this one is going to happen.
  11. Confirmed as signed for us
  12. WAYNE ROONEY’S Derby County are picking up a bitter-sweet £600,000 cheque from Aston Villa for young Northern Ireland striker Omari Kellyman. The Rams administrators have accepted the offer from the Premier League club for Derby’s top young talent. Aston Villa poach Derby hotshot Omari Kellyman in £600k transfer as Wayne Rooney’s side sell latest starlet to pay wages (thesun.co.uk) Know absolutely zero about this young man.
  13. Played Wing Back today for the U23's, Looks a talent and half. Plays for England youth already. One for the future
  14. Thought I would give him a thread as he's doing very well, was already playing for our U21s last season as a U16 and also played in EFL Trophy against first team opposition, was rumoured to be going to Chelsea but signed his scholarship with us, and has continued playing for the U21s this season as first year scholar and has been one of the standouts. And has now received a call-up to the England U18 squad
  15. Goalkeeper. Starting for Villa U21 squad. Only 16. Deserves his own thread. Prediction: Future England International goalkeeper. https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/peterborough-united/the-goalkeeper-who-posh-sold-for-ps100k-when-he-was-13-has-now-signed-a-scholarship-deal-at-aston-villa-4212533
  16. He’s a skilful winger, an u16 who scored for our u23s today, whenever I’ve seen him, he has impressed me. He’s very quick and jinky and likes to run at the opposition and to take players on. He has a chance I think, I don’t know if he is related to Ashley before anyone asks!
  17. Another Ramsey brother called Cole. On the bench for the U18's today. Brother of Jacob and Aaron. His dad was a boxer blah blah blah. Transfermarkt say he's a CB. Just turned 16 a few days ago (18th Feb)
  18. Another highly rated youth prospect through the door, who’s played for the Bournemouth first team. A substantial fee involved. I absolutely love what the owners are creating at Villa. Welcome Ajani.
  19. At the risk of doing a @sir_gary_cahill, this lad looks very special. In our PL2 game vs Reading he was playing some great through balls and looked really tidy with his feet moving both ways with the ball. Maybe it was weak opposition, but he really stood out as having genuine technical quality and a footballing brain. Does anyone know much about him?
  20. Ex Fleetwood Town centre back that we signed from them last Summer, he has been excelling in our u18s and u23s. He’s 16 years old, a first year scholar, I’ve seen him a few times for our u23s and he just looks class, he’s very composed and good on the ball, he just breezes through matches at that level. I see very few flaws in his game from what I have seen so far, he could go right to the top. I’m interested in other poster’s views on him if they have seen him play, edit- I know I have bigged up young players on here in the past and been made to look stupid but I have a good feeling about this player, he just plays with such maturity for someone of his age
  21. Just saw him playing in goal for the England U19s and found he didn't have a thread yet. I also thought he wasn't English, but it seems that he switched allegiance from Poland lately? Saw that on transfermarkt but don't know for sure.
  22. Just signed on a 2 year deal from west brom
  23. Aston Villa is pleased to announce the appointment of Josep Gombau as the club’s new Under-21 Head Coach. Gombau took his first steps in coaching with Amposta and Espanyol before operating in several player development posts at the famous Barcelona youth academy for a number of years. avfc
