Figured that this one would be one that came up this summer. Unai's signed him twice which, to me, shows that he has a level of comfort with him. Also, is probably mates with the Emi's... The Fabrizio tweet pretty much confirms that we're in for him this summer at a reasonable price.

Italian Newspaper Gazzetta Del A Sport are reporting we've made a 25m Euro offer for Attacking Midfielder/Second Striker Charles De Ketelaere - 22yo Belgian. He was a very highly regarded prospect before joining AC Milan last summer where it's not gone well for him at all. With Pulisic moving to Milan, it appears De Ketelaere is being told he can leave for the right price.

Matt is well respected at the club and has proper sources. This is on it seems, especially when they go down.. I’ll be honest, we have a LOT of money, if this is the best we can find, I’d be disappointed.

Antonio Cordón has been linked in a few media pieces lately as having offers from both us and Barcelona as the new Sporting Director. It now appears he's not going to Barcelona.. Putting us in pole position for the ex-Betis SD. Saw this line about him online during the Barca rumours. Cordon has been behind the smart recruitment that has allowed Betis to win a Copa del Rey and qualify for the Europa League on a shoestring budget. However he communicated his decision to leave last week, and has departed this week, amid rumours that he may join Barcelona’s recruitment department. Interestingto see if he pops up replacing Johan Lange soon

A couple of links now (listed below). From Mercato and El Nacional Catalonia. Marca had also said Ceballos is leaving Madrid - but our only mention in it was linked to Asensio I feel like he would be a sensible signing, he should be better than his time at Arsenal and is on a free. As long as he's paid like a rotation or normal First Team player it could make sense - rather than one of the highest earners. I have my doubts though on that considering he'd be a Free from Real Madrid, the cost is likely high. His stats are good even if his goal involvements are pretty low (3 Assists in 18 Starts and 19 sub appearances). As a rotation for McGinn/Ramsey he'd be a good signing imo. Though I feel like Guendouzi would be a more impactful signing and can't see us signing both.

Considering this guy is linked daily it seems, thought it’s worth it’s own thread. I feel like our pursuit of Phillips has been going on for years… Collomosse is tier 1 and usually bang on the money when it comes to our transfers. Strangely, I think we have a better chance of getting him if Leeds aren’t relegated…? Solid player, would definitely improve us.

Happy New Year! With long term injuries to our top summer signings Diego Carlos and Kamara, we are basically playing the same starting 11 who finished (poorly) last season off for us. Who would you like us to sign to improve the squad in January? How much budget do you think we will have to spend?

Those in italics to send out on loan once more.

It seems at the moment that we have a number of players who are underperforming and/or frustrating regularly. I guess mid table players will always have a few weaknesses, but there's a few in our squad who are even struggling to look PL standard at the moment. If we're serious about going to the next level and gaining greater consistency, who needs shipping out? I'd like to see Cash and Digne replaced as a starting point. They limit our attacking threat so much. Cash is even poor defensively as soon as he's up against someone with a bit of trickery. Digne's touch is often so poor. One FB who can actually dribble would be a dream. I don't think Chambers is good enough to even be a squad player. Weak, rash, overrated passer. Nowhere near good enough. We need a better regular starter than Watkins. Brilliant at some things, amateurish at many others. I'd like to keep him in the squad, but simply, we need better. Another one who limits our ability to build dangerous attacks. Leon Bailey - I'm about ready to give up on him. Was willing to be patient to let him get his confidence and fitness going, in a side which actually has shape, but he is so frustrating. Runs down blind alleys, and if he does manage to spot the best option, it's often too late. Could maybe be a good impact sub for a little while, but unless there's a drastic turnaround in his level of performance, he also needs replacing in the starting XI. Buendia - you won't find a bigger fan of his than me, but his giving the ball away needs to stop. I don't want him gone just yet though - I'd give him more time as I know he's so dangerous in the final third. Thoughts?

I bet Coutunho is gone, for one. Probably Olsen as well. The French bombers too perhaps.
