  1. As above, I don’t think anyone was suggesting the ball was in play when he was booked, but that his previous ‘time wasting’ with the ball in play influenced the ref’s decision, when it shouldn’t.

  2. When the boys leave the ground

They all head straight to Pau’s

    for paella

When the Villa win the league

    we’ll vote Pau in as

    Birmingham Mayor

Probably 75% likely we finish fifth and probably 75% likely fifth place will be a CL place. Getting CL is all that matters, out final position of fourth or fifth isn't really important.

    So you’re saying it’s 50/50?

  4. Just to illustrate the above the left image is our attacking shape with Konsa at ‘RB’, the right image is pretty much how we ended the West Ham game with Cash at RB. Balance is all off, overcrowded on the right side, massive gaps in midfield for Tielemans to cover on his own, and Douglas ‘Tommy Elphick’ Luiz covering CB.

Yeah I’ve said all season I think Emery wanted Konsa at RB all season. But Cash’s good start to the season and CB injuries meant it didn’t happen for a while

Agreed. I know people aren’t keen on Konsa at RB but Cash can’t play that RCB role which has a knock on effect throughout the pitch when we end up pulling Kamara/Dougie back out of midfield to fill in.

Yeah it’s a good question. I don’t honestly know. Torres is so good, and Unai would have known that, that I assume the plan was always to get him into the first team.

Maybe Mings’ injury saved him from a tough decision

Or Mings would’ve just played RCB where Diego has been playing.

Can’t really know what Emery was planning but considering how he tends to favour Konsa at RB when he can I suspect Moreno - Pau - Mings - Konsa may have been his preferred defence, in that shape the RCB ends up playing centrally in a back 3 when we’re in possession anyway.

  7. I just looked up that dungeon and I have vague memories of the boss after the one you’re on being a bit of a pain in the arse actually, which probably isn’t what you want to hear.

Not sure what build you’re using but the Pthumerian Descendant is weak to arcane apparently?

I had a hankering to go back to Bloodborne. I've never platinumed it, I got burnt on one of the Chalice dungeons were you have greatly reduced health and enemies are buffed iirc - and then you have to fight Amygdala. Which is complete horseshit.

I did it finally though. So the platinum might be on.

I’ve been getting the same hankering recently however we’re in the process of moving house and have no internet so I can’t re-install it 🙁

The chalice dungeons are all a bit of a blur for me now, I only really remember the watchdog (actually one of my favourite bosses despite the hate it seems to get) and Amygdala, however I don’t remember the Queen herself being overly difficult so it’s probably worth persevering.

  9. Also as others have said speak to NPCs and read the descriptions of items as you pick them up (press square on PS in your inventory) they’ll give you clues on where to go, the crestfallen warrior near the first bonfire is pretty helpful early game.

  10. As difficult as it may be try not to get frustrated, you’ll only end up rushing and dying more. If it gets to that point don’t be afraid to just put it down for a while. Souls games aren’t hard, you just have to learn how to play them.

Don’t worry about being hollow for now, you’ll die so much on your first playthrough you’ll run out of humanities pretty quickly. As others have said you can use them to kindle bonfires for more estus, it’ll cost you 2 humanity (1 to reverse hollowing and 1 to kindle). The number in the top left corner of the screen is how many humanities you have available to ‘spend’, you can consume humanity items from your inventory to increase that number, and you can farm them from rats - there’s a good spot under the bridge with the dragon.

There’s also a vendor hidden in the Undead Burg that sells the Heater shield which will probably be pretty handy early on.

  11. I also really enjoyed Days Gone but it's one of those frustrating games that had the potential to be so much better. It definitely wasn't without its issues either, that game could be janky as ****. Here's a 90 second video of me being soft-locked due to being repeatedly spawn killed by the same wolves. I also had to restart the game during the very first mission because Dozer got perma-stuck in a tree. And whilst I thought the voice acting was good the delivery could be super weird sometimes, noticeably long pauses between lines or characters talking over eachother and such. One thing I will say though is they absolutely nailed the motorbike physics better than any other game I've played.

It's unbelievable the amount of top athletes who have asthma. Taken as the same proportion as the general public it seems you are 10 times more likely to suffer from asthma if you're a professional sportsman.

Very strange, almost too coincidental you might say.

Exercise induced asthma is a thing, and is actually fairly common amongst professional athletes particularly those who train at altitude (pretty much every pro runner and cyclist). I don't doubt there are many athletes using this to their advantage but that's not to say it isn't a real issue.
