I found it interesting he didn't even look at Unai as he was briefing him to come on and looked really ticked off when they showed him on the bench. Would like him to stay but Duran coming on before him spoke volumes to me.

He is a player who you can be pretty certain gets this club completely. Losing the captaincy must of been a huge blow and then make no mistake I think Gerrard would have moved him on if Tyrone hadn’t made it plain he wasn’t going anywhere. He clearly enjoys representing our club. Like many of us losing him in the manor we did on Saturday hurt far more than the result ever could and look forward to seeing him take his place as a natural leader in a Villa shirt as soon as possible.

Would be a good signing on loan to be honest. Can put himself about a bit and as others have said if it means dropping Bailey I am all for it.

Yes it’s fallen apart today, we need the same kind of reaction we gave last season.

Moreno, Mings, Ramsey, Buendia………..that’s 4 players who you would assume would be in our starting eleven. There replacements are not at the same level and it shows. Very worried that Mings could be out for a long time because our defence looked completely lost without him.

Well considering they think every single player in the starting eleven is better than ours even Gary O'Neil should be able to keep them up.

If Saudis make a reasonable offer I would prefer to see him go. It’s all downhill from here for him. Let someone else pay the bills.
