Again, why would CNZ deny himself the opportunity to declare that he's fit and train? Why wouldn't he declare that he's fit? All we have is a response on instagram (which is still open to interpretation). If he was fit to play, wouldn't he come out and say he was fit to play or at least train?

Just to clarify, Isa. You think that CNZ is not injured anymore, but not saying that he's fit to play, and on the bomb squad because he's not allowed to train? I mean I've read some ridiculous stuff but a player sabotaging his own career by not declaring himself fit to play or even train with the kids?

McCarthy wouldn't have solved any of our problems. Delph and Westwood can do a job defending and getting the ball to the attackers. It's the whole part where our forwards or wide forwards or wide midfielders, whatever role they're supposed to be in, are failing HARD. If we could replace Gabby and Andi with skillful players (I'll even take players who can consistently put in a cross), then we would be much better off.

Like he's "occupied" defenders in all other home games? He's just like Andi. Stands right next to the center backs and often will stand right next to the other striker. He has no sense of spacing and position. He's faster than Andi but that is nullified when the opposing team just sits deep.

Don't think he played well today. But when you're the only midfielder that can pass, it's a big ask for him to hold the midfield together by himself

Great clearance. Maybe it's because I haven't seen him in a while but he is incredibly slow. It's a struggle for him to sprint

I usually get on Lambert about his team selections but there's very few combinations that would make me happy today. Just claw out a win and start looking to next season. Any way will do, just get 3 points on the board. -

I don't think he's particularly suited for the attacking role. He's definitely a deep midfielder. Just really needs to shore up his defensive side of the game which he's been doing better recently
