  1. you shouldve had the blues game as your first. Our members are spread around the ground so we won't be together for the Blues game.
  2. The stewards were just concerned about our constant standing. They were telling everyone in the lower north to sit down which was quite surprising given it's normally half standing. They did bring police over who were polite about it and fairly bemused. Second half we stood throughout and the stewards didn't bother us again. Glad people liked the banner, if you'd seen us pissing around with a projector for 2 hours without having even picked up a paint brush you'd never think it'd turn out so well!
  3. Alright Wedge, we hope we can bring a bit of colour and more atmosphere to the ground. you'll have to wait till wednesday night to see where we're sitting, but hopefully it should be pretty obvious then! We'll only be at Villa Park in cup games this season as we have season tickets all over the ground at the moment, with a bit of luck we'll get a decent cup run or two.
  4. That's a strong bench there, when you think we have Gabby and L. Young to come back from injury as well as Delph long term then we have far more strength in depth this season.
  5. Brigada1874 have been doing a bit of work on producing a group banner and some flags over the last couple of weeks and we will be launching at the game against Burnley. If anyone going to the game has got a decent camera that they could take some snaps and videos with then it'd be great if you could get in touch with us. A lot of hard graft goes into organising a group like this and we know we won't be a success overnight but we hope we can bring back some atmosphere to Villa Park over the coming years and the Burnley game represents the first small steps toward achieving this. Keep your eyes peeled.
  6. I've never heard of Don Broadman, but I know Don Broadhurst is a Villa fan, they sound similar. Yep, that's the fella!
  7. This is the same night that Frankie Gavin and Don Broadman fight in Frank Warens "Magnificent 7" night at the NEC. I'm fairly sure that Gavin is a Blues fan, does Broadman have any local affiliation? It seems rather silly that the police are happy to have Baggies, Blues and us all in the area on the same day yet the majority of our derby games have to be on a sunday at 12 or 2pm.
