The well of top class managers is dry, although a few VTers could perhaps start a football manager recruitment agency, as it is clearly easy to appoint a manager at this time. If it's KMac, so be it. I'm really torn on this topic. We have consistantly had one of the best reserve teams in the country for a number of years now thanks to Kevin. In the position we find ourselves in today, no new players coming in Kev is the man who knows our reserves best and if we needed to bring in players from the reserves due to injury etc he knows them best. However if it all goes horribly wrong we'll lose him completely and risk not producing good young players, which with the board not being keen on spending is of incredible importance to us. Unless Jol or Moyes are on their way he is the best option imo

We were amazing today although West Ham didn't turn up. I haven't seen the boys play that well for a long time. It does make you wonder just how bad things had got behind the scenes with mon. Their performance was like sticking 2 fingers up at him and proving they are better off without him. Albrighton was unlucky to miss out on motm he was outstanding. Shame big John just couldn't find the back of the net, other than that he had a great game. So glad heskey didn't make it on and even more pleased that Nige did. Its a good start hope we can build on it.
