im generally not a fan of big name managers & Houllier is probably the giggest name we have ever had at VP, our history shows that most of our success has come under "nobodys". i will be giving Houllier every chance & even if the guy makes mistakes i will be happy if he learns from them unlike MOn

We are definitely similar clubs, however, i dont think Everton have any money, Moyes is on record as saying he would like to buy 1 player, a striker around the value of £15m, well its transfer deadline day & nonews of players going into Everton only out

i like Reo Coker for what he does but hate him for what he doesnt, he is half a midfielder. He tackles, he breaks up play, he surges forward "yes" but he cant pass, he gives opposing midfielders acres of space to play in & is often slow to get back in position

Moyes has always been touted as the next manager at Man utd, however, now that mantle seems to have moved over to Mourinho, so maybe the only way Moyes can progress is to move away from Everton now

By all accounts there is no more money at Everton & with the likely departures of Rodwell & Pienaar & Moyes not being given the money to spend he my well be at the end of his tether

You cant just discount the rumours, when bookies slash odds like that there is always some truth behind the rumours

Come on Bri...you know everyone on here thinks he's crap ;-) Carew on form is unplayable, teams just cant cope with him. He had is moments vs Everton but still sruggled to find the target. As for Reo Coker, he allowed Fellaini far too much space in the first half, corrected at half time when Petrov was swapped to look after him allowin Reo Coker that bit more freedom

Loving the David Moyes rumour at the moment

I would just like a manager who is gonna give the youngsters a chance, lads like Albrighton & Delfouneso need regular starts, they have immense talent but their potential will not be reached unless they play, Ciaran Clark & Barry Bannan are also knocking on the door. Id like to see Gordon Cowans promoted, maybe with an old head by his side
