I think we need to give GH a chance really and there is always going to be opposition from fans regardless of who ever takes the managers roll. There is talk of KMac staying on as GH's assistant/first team coach but i'm not sure if this is true. I personally would like KMac to stay with the youth team and start pushing them through the ranks.

The former England international is mulling over the move ahead of Villa's pre-season trip to Portugal. Young, who has been deployed as a left-back for Villa, would seemingly fulfill a similar role at Anfield as Glen Johnson is currently first-choice on the other side of defence with academy graduates Martin Kelly and Stephen Darby able to provide adequate back-up. If you look back on previous seasons, Carew has always kept up with Agbonlahor (goal wise). So if Carew started more games rather than a substitute, I can't see why he can't become a more prolific goal scorer.
