  1. Some guy on VV has posted this........... RosettaStoned - 21/5/2012 14:32 Ive just been informed that a desicion has been made and he will be announced before the end of the week. Im all very meh about this, exciting as a young unknown is, im a little concerned that this may backfire spectacularly. Where from young sir? ----- Get well soon Sir Stan of Petrov Read more: http://www.astonvilla.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=49053&start=1837&posts=1853#ixzz1vVoVx8qu
  2. Ian Taylor was involved in the deal??????? enlighten me,must have missed that bit
  3. Personally, I think you're argument is full of holes and you ARE a racist. I am ashamed that you are associated to Aston Villa, albeit via a internet message board, in any way. Villa have foreign players, black players, English players etc. They are most welcome. England are managed by an Italian. Get over it. Your views are your own, I appreciate that, but you most certainly do not speak the truth. I'm fairly sure that, if you look back far enough in your family history, you won't be English either. Well said. We have an American owner, our captain (main) is Bulgarian and our manager is French. And an Irish man,Welsh man and a Scots man,oh don't forget about the couple of lads from Africa.Sure there is a joke here somewhere.
  4. More like the Newcastle Brown
  5. Jol and Ray Wilkins as no 2,it wont happen ,if we went down(we wont) they will stick with GH.
  6. Cant see a problem, think he will be here for a while, aint as stupid as people think.Been a nob in parts but he is getting where he wants to go,the same as Randy.Imo,i think he is here for the long haul and think we will be good under him.
  7. Maybe he needs the faith reinstalled in him as Graham Taylor did to our Villa legend GOD when he signed him from being an outcast at Utd. Brilliant interview with both of them talking about their relationship while they were at Villa Park together................ http://media.newstalk.ie/podcast/22415/
  8. Great bloke ourrrr Randy Hes gone and brought us bent Quinn and Bruce are crying They know their team is spent Hes gonna score for Villa And create some more It doesnt matter what they think When gerrard made that call........../who let the dogs out ,hou, hou My old man tune
  9. We would be stupid if we didnt sell Milner if we got a good price for him, thats how you strengthen the squad,as long as we buy good players and not waste it on maybe players. I will judge Mon on this year and what he brings in. Like i said,if he cant take us up a gear this year i think he will decide himself he cant carry on and between him and Randy will look at whats better for Villa at the end of the season as they always do. Its the lower teams that messed us up last year, not the top 4.Too many draws and loosing must win games etc. Mons done a job so far although he's made some bad decisions and bought some shit waisting money when he should have got quality in. HESKEY for a start.
  10. On the fence a bit on this,if we dont dont do any better this season i think this will be his last season at Villa Park. Either he will walk or Randy will look at a manager who can take us to the next level.Imo i cant see us moving forwads this season unless we get some good signings in.Top ten we will be,higher than sixth i doubt.
  11. And we will get them all at 11:58pm deadline day....
  12. 80 premier league goals or something like that, if we sign a better striker than him, I'll be amazed I see you were listening to Harry Redknapp last night Its 78 by the way. Anyway, seeing as you are such a big Yakubu fan you will no doubt know how many goals he has scored in the last two seasons. Now not being a fan myself I had no idea I just knew it wasn't many, so I checked. What I found really wasn't very impressive; 2008-2009 17 games 5 goals 2009-2010 31 games 5 goals Not the sort of scoring recorded that gets me excited or hoping that Martin gets the cheque book out for personally. In fact, I believe Heskey managed 5 goals last season as well. So I'm struggling to see any basis at all why Yakubu would be a good signing unless its on the basis of form from 2007-2008 which I would hate to see us sign someone on. And its still more than Heskey No thanks
