  1. The booing of Warnock after the OG was cringeworthy, I took along a couple of non-Villa mates with the ten pound tickets for ST holders offer and was embarassed that that is how they saw the Villa home crowd. Yes a terrible mistake but how is booing him going to help? First half was terrible and on the basis of that 45 minutes I will take a point. However, second half we were great and should have won. need to see the penalty shouts again but it sounds like the ref has done us over. Keane was brilliant, such a clever player. Same goes for Ireland. Really good for Nzogbia to get his first goal and hopefully he will push on from this. Love that Dazza is scoring every game at the moment too, long may it continue. I voted Dunne motm, thought he was great for playing the ball out from the back (not sure whether this was to prevent Given having to kick long due to injury though). He should have shouted for the OG but aside from that I thought he had a great game, looks a LOT better with Carlos beside him rather than Collins. I wish Mcleish could get some of his halftime teamtalks into the pre-match ones though! Got to give him credit for whatever he said at HT yesterday because we came out a different side, plus we got the first goal at the perfect time... credit for Hutton for a great cross. Lets hope the 2nd half performance isn't yet another false start this season. Bring on Newcastle.
  2. We are not going to be relegated this season.
  3. **** hell I'll just join the pessimism brigade then
  4. It is a winnable game. We are playing a promoted side who are below us in the table. Before the season began it is one of the games people would have picked out as winnable. I never said it wouldn't be tough but we have the quality to win this. We should have beaten them at their place and would have done were it not for a very unlucky own goal in the last minute.
  5. Some of our fans are ridiculous. He has scored 9 out of our 33 goals this season. Is it worth not playing a player who has scored almost a third of our goal this season? Do me a favour.
  6. Give it a **** break. Yes it was a poor challenge but that's not his job, if he hadn't tracked back you would be complaining too.
  7. Gutted, **** gutted. Ireland definite MOTM playing out of position and had a really good game. Not much else to say, two poor tackles and a huge slice of luck. We should not be told to sit back on leads and the blame for that lies with the manager but there is nothing he can do about suicidal defending, what was Hutton thinking with that 'clearance'?! Same old, at least we can concentrate on the league now.............
  8. Got a Djokovic/Villa double at 10s, half way there...
  9. Well the draw takes place before the match so we're in the hat for the 5th round!

Apparently this is a genuine cooked breakfast in a cafe in Great Yarmouth, and called the Kids Breakfast because it weights the same as a small child. £15 or free if you eat it within 60 minutes. Can't find the name of the cafe anywhere on the internet though Sorry if it has already bindunne but here's the photo:
  11. Just keep quiet and pretend it was Gary's name you got on the back of your shirt.
  12. This match has been inexplicably chosen by Sky. Now on at 4pm on the 18th of March. link
  13. Clark moved into the midfield, Albrighton switched to the left and Gardner played on the right side but not necessarily as a winger.
  14. You would expect a side of Spurs' stature to beat them too I imagine? You can never count on a win in this league.
  15. Only got one problem with him, he looks too much like his brother. Aside from that, in the team every week please!
  16. one in two is a phenomenal ratio, and yet people still criticise him... madness.
  17. na na na naa Keano!! Great away day, thought we were dead and buried at 2-1 given our form of late. Fair play to Robbie Keane, think he has repaid his loan value with those goals today because it was a massive win. Keane motm for his two goald which won the game but thought Marc had a great game down the right. Also everyone who calls Bent lazy, great work to win the penalty and I thought he was very good today. Gardner great debut. Very assured. Fair play to Warnock after having a few shockers recently, he was great when he came on. Collins also deserves credit today.
  18. You will have a great time. I went down to Munich a couple of times last year when I lived over in Nordrhein Westfalen. Once for Oktoberfest so I didn't see any of the city but the second time my friends from uni came over for the weekend and we did all the tourist stuff, did a fascinating walking tour centering around 1920s onwards. Make sure to go to the Hofbrauhaus for a Mass (the big beers) or several. Also would recommend taking the train out to Dacchau concentration camp if you haven't looked around one before. Don't get too excited about the Rathaus-Glockenspiel though, which is apparently a big tourist attraction.
  19. last time these two matches were played on the same day...
  20. Yep, the mail have been skulking around on here edit: oops thought you meant the daily heil, don't mind the birmingham mail posting stuff seen on here!
  21. Only here would people want to sell the man of the match in our last four games.
  22. Horrible amount of cynicism in this thread. Watch the Flintoff documentary on iPlayer at the moment for an interesting look at depression in sport.
