Do we sign some free transfers like Hermoso, Ndidi and Ilheanacho so that we can sign 2 expensive players? One of them being Zaniolo.

The houses next to villa are the ideal location for me, a major upgrade to Witton Station and the train time table capable of delivering fans. You could then turn villa park into a fan park and even keep the holte facade as a hotel/corporate entity.

Ive been pretty critical of him and his underlying stats backed that up but his performances have been getting better and he was collosus in the Arsenal game. Replacing him is not a priority and if he continues like that Mings, Carlos, Pau and Konsa is a great back 4 to have. A young player to replace Lenglet is the only possibility I see.

Ive tried to play the games but just cant get into them but I love the idea behind it.

Yes Goggins is in it as a main character and hes fantastic as is the rest of the show. 

Thought he was rubbish today, the only positive is that he continues to work hard. 

Im not sure how it has happened but he just seems to impact games, goal or assists he makes it happen. Glad hes in form as Diaby is absolutely pants at the moment,

Not sure if he is a rival to Ramsey but imagine if we had both on the pitch at the same time able to travel with the ball.

That second half was the performance of a top top team. We still won’t get enough credit for it, just dominated Arsenal for that half. 

I don’t really understand Israel’s position in terms of saying they will retaliate, surely someone like Iran could just flatten them if they really wanted to. are Iran not in a real position to do so? Or do nukes just trump everything.

They were so so bad again. Bruno was their best player but his petulance and tantrums are just as bad for the team as doing nothing like rashford 

I’d love to stay at villa park but the desire of most owners is to turn their stadium into an all year round revenue generating behemoth. If they turn the area of Aston into a destination I might have to start a religion for them it would be that much of a miracle. 

I don’t know the shady world of these deals but for me it says a lot to get this type of investor in the top infrastructure owner.

For billionaires it’s easy to buy a load of clubs and call yourself a group. It must be much harder to pick clubs who are prime for development in the right markets with decent infrastructure in place and knit those together to seem attractive to investors.

Or maybe the names of our owners is enough to get other big dogs involved.

they already paid a fortune for Rasmus so they have screwed themselves there in any striker is either a back up or puts him on the bench.

Not a chance he goes to United, I think he’s an Arsenal fan so that’s the only possibility. No one can afford him and I don’t think he would want to leave anyway.

I love villa park but the north needs to go if we stay and I think the cancellation points towards leaving.

Other than the north the biggest thing for me is sorting out the acoustics which probably means the roof of each stand. You can sit in the other stands and people in the holte will say it was loud and you can hardly hear them.

Man United, Liverpool and Newcastle according to the press. I think Newcastle and maybe Chelsea have players out for long periods. The rest are just niggles.

The wall issue won’t change my opinion on him but it reinforces what I’ve seen from him regarding his general smart play.

Other than that I do think he has quality and has played his part this season.

Would sign him for £5-10 million as a bargain and a risk not the £30 mil that has been agreed.

I really like him, he’s got quality. He’s more similar to Ramsey than Bailey.

That was essentially our back up choices in the top 4 so more than happy with his part in it.

I dont think hes a system player but you do have to actually pass to him and make space for him. Southgate loves Kane because he drops in giving another body in the midfield but also allows the wingers to be the outlet and hope the pace can unlock the other team hence why hes continually used Sterling and Rashford during his time. 

Chillwell, Gallagher and Rashford were shit, Watkins and foden hardly got a touch, thought Konsa, Gordon and Bowen did well.

Standard Southgate, boring slow football in a defensive shape. No idea how to change it.

He’s chaos, if he can control it he’ll be an absolute handful.

That mistake by the Ajax player may be the luck he needs to get him going

I think im okay with it being a red the more annoying thing is that if the ref doesnt give it I dont think VAR do. 

They were pathetic today and if Everton had any idea what to do in the final third they would have lost.

Its a miracle they are 6th and not because of the injuries.
