  1. in travel lodge at covent garden, down the road from you, thats for sunday night though, win or loose, i'll enjoy the beer
  2. i'd help out there b6, but got a shity phone, no internet. i'll be heading for the fenhurst, but if open, it's going to be rammed. might have to be the off licence/shop and freeze me nuts off in the carpark.
  3. i'm up for it now, finish work in an hour, striaght down to villa(adventures) for my coach, come on villa boys
  4. ok, but are tamworth, lichfield and walsall in the prem, and i think if any of these teams you mentioned were in the prem or semi's of the cup, they would have far better support than the mighty rovers. i still think they have shit support. of course this will be confirmed on thursday.
  5. blackburn were poor, but i'm sure there be up for it on thursday, but we should still come away with at least an away goal. only about 600 to 800 fans there aswell, totally shit support. blackburn to manchester approx half hour, joke team. i remember the season after they won the prem, when the had less than 1000 at villa park. thank god for villa's travelling army, can't wait. please no more snow, i can't take anymore postponed games.
  6. thats bad news, also it's started to snow where i am in blakedown, at work, hopefully not up north, though!
  7. hope not, i want man shity to kick them off the pitch
  8. i'm with k2 on this one, what do you want us to do, we pay our taxes, it's the muppets running the country. when i was a lad( ha ha) we had snow drifts 20 ft high(lol), we still managed to get around, up the villa, looking forward to tomorrow, megabus here i come(1st time).
  9. thanks milfner, do the trains from wigan come into piccadilly then, not victoria. i'm trying to do it on the cheap. megabus cost £8 return from brum
  10. just booked a cheap coach (megabus) but leaves shudehill, manchester at 1750, does anyone in the know think i'll make it. is wigan wallgate the best bet for the quickest back to manchester after the game, otherwise the next bus is 2000.
  11. thanks for that, i did get a price for £20 about a week ago, but was trying to sort out blackburn travel, and now i'll probably drive, don't want to loose any cash if it gets called off, coach is probably a better option now, if you dont have to dish out any cash up front.
  12. had the same silly prices, which ever way you try and book. i'm thinking of driving up, so if anyone wants to split the fuel, mail me, i'm abit worried about this game aswell, freezing temperatures all week, and wigwam calling off a game recently, due to icy roads etc. keep my options open until last minute
  13. i'll be having one in the adventures, coach leaves at 3 pm, just got a seat, £15. mail me if your going to be around v/p 2 ish.
  14. . thanks for that, shows the last time i went on the coaches, it used to be the rotunda, up the villa.
  15. haven't booked coach yet, i don't know how much villa are charging, premier travel charging £20, pick up rotunda, and the adventurers are charging £15, pick up addy's. i'm going on me tod, happy to have a beer with anyone, probably drink in fenhurst with every else, mind you, it's going to be tuff getting served with 5,300 going up. anyone travelling back from brum towards solihull, who want to split a cab, mail me.
  16. cheers sparey, might see ya up there, up the villa.
  17. the coach seems expensive, i'll probably go by train, if thats too pricey, i'll go in the car. mind you i've got to get a match ticket yet, they haven't gone on general sale yet, have they, i'm s/t in lower north. i've left it late as i was waiting for me mate to see if he could make it or not, and he cant for wigan or blackburn, hope to get ticket for both tomorrow at villa
  18. thanks for info sparey, have you got your tickets, what time you going up.
  19. hi, new on this site, hoping to go to wigwam and blackburn away, mate can't make it, so travelling on me tod, probably on train, haven't been to wigwam, whats the best boozer, i know the fenhurst's good at blackburn. went up in september, when we got ripped off, match ticket £34. anyone else in similar situation, want to meet up. no quiet ones, though, i've had enough of that in the lower north, trying to get them singing. up the villa.
