  1. Like I said 3 out of the 11 wouldn't be starting... our best team was the one that played Man City off the park. Our issue is all about squad depth, the big teams have it and we don't yet.
  2. Just rewatching the game to find the moment United scored from Garnacho's raised boot with Emi Martinez relieving his cramp.
  3. A result of a tired team, littered with second string players and no depth on the bench to change things. I would imagine Emery would have liked to go into that game with Torres, Tielemans and Kamara all starting over Lenglet, Ramsey and Denconcker. Players will come back to fitness soon, and we have the chance to strengthen. Depth was always going to be our issue this season with the amount of games we have to play.
  4. Desperately need a defensive midfielder in this side. A loss in midfield can't be deputised for at the moment; lose Luiz or Kamara like tonight and we are miles off the pace. Dendoncker just isn't good enough in there. Personally would bring in Kalvin Phillips if possible, although he may cost us too much. Between him Luiz and Kamara we would have depth and players who can be used in other areas when required. It covers all areas and gives us quality.
  5. I think that anything new needs some time to settle with a fanbase. The round badge for me was initially not right, I didn't like the lion facing to the right and wasn't sure the colour scheme was bright enough to stand out. I've now gotten used to the lion and think the badge looks very good within the PL lineup - possibly because I'm constantly looking at it in 3rd place in the league! The other thing that has made it look worse than it could have been is the monochrome version of the badge on the training kit. It looks so much better in the below picture, but the problem they have is the lion is then not in colour. I think it's a shame to move away from it so soon - and perhaps if we led with this throughout the club rather than holding onto the old crest, it would have been accepted even more.
  6. Like someone mentioned earlier it's a combination of the threadbare squad and Howe persisting on trying to play the same way. Pope is a big miss for them in goal and it's showing at the back. Tripper looks out on his feet most games as well.
  7. Would be a perfect fit for us in one of the attacking roles. Would cost far too much mind.
  8. Genuinally completely forgot Coutinho was on loan and still an Aston Villa player.
  9. Absolutely not. If the game was midweek maybe, but it's a Saturday kick off with a week off coming up two weeks later. We should be competing on all fronts.

    Matty Cash

Right back / right wing back urgently required in January. Currently our weakest area when we are having to rotate the side.
  11. Thanks that's really useful, my Xbox is in the furthest room away as well. Will take a look at Asus XD6 Nodes.
  12. I would also be interested in the answer to @NurembergVillan question above, looking at a mesh wifi but have no idea where to start. I'm using Virgin Media, but since installing a couple of Alexa's and smart plugs a few weeks ago by wifi connection seems to be dropping out all over the place. 250mb package with a fairly strong signal throughout the house so no idea what's going on. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help?
  13. Led the line superbly today, thought he was a real handful for the Arsenal defence especially in the first half.
  14. We're doing fine, absolutely no reason to lose our heads because Arsenal beat Luton - even though they were poor throughout. 4th in the league ahead of two fixtures against City and Arsenal is a dream scenario right now, it's two free hits at the big sides. They have a lot more on the line than we do right now. After these games we've got a good run of games into the New Year where we can work on stockpiling more points. Keep the faith.
  15. Started the day with Taylor in defence and a plan to bring Nunez in for Watkins. 30 minutes before deadline changed by mind and brought Saliba in for Guehi. Saliba 1 point... Taylor 10 points. Cracking day.
  16. Squid Game: The Challenge sounds ridiculous in that it's a real life version of the game. But it's incredibly good viewing and really well done; worth a watch.
  17. Genuinally think Torres is the closest we've come to a centre back on the level of Paul McGrath. Every game he's adapting to English football and stepping up a gear; he reads the game ahead of everyone else and is so confident on the ball. He's also one of the best passers of the ball on the pitch. Superb.
  18. Thought the atmosphere was good yesterday, it was loud in the Holte End for the majority of the game. Wish they would stop playing the music though, the one that annoys me the most is straight after the final whistle when the players come over. Leave the music off and let the fans celebrate with the players.
  19. Nice one I'll listen to that tomorrow! Listen to the Mark Crossley one, I reckon it's the best one.
  20. Took Nketiah out of my WC team 15 minutes before deadline as I decided he doesn't score enough goals.
  21. Another piss into a full urinal panicking it's going to overflow onto my feet. Class
