  1. I wish they’d stop calling them the “big six”. They’re just six clubs, period. We’re the biggest club in the second biggest city. Don’t consider any of them as bigger than us. They’re the most successful clubs of the last few years, sure. But that is a transitory thing. Sky and other sycophantic media like to consider them as the big six. They’re just clubs.

  2. Couldn’t care less about the merits or otherwise of VAR. I simply don’t like it, it disrupts games and takes away its spontaneity. I’ll take the game decisions as the ref sees it, warts and all.

  3. Whingeing Cry babies. Just get on with doing the business on the pitch. Thought of the three incidents only the third was a nailed on pen. But this happens to most teams over time. Always been part of the game. No doubt over time they will be the occasional beneficiary of such calls. Silly reaction from them claiming a Luton fan was behind this. And Clattenenburg should just get himself a proper job.

I normally sit in the Holte, but sat in the corner of the lower north near the Trinity as it was my sons first game.

They started many of the chants which the North stand caught onto, and in time I think will give a good full ground atmosphere. Normally, the North stand waits for a really loud Holte to get involved, whereas it was more proactive yesterday. Give it a few months I think it will be a vital bridge for a full stadium atmosphere and not just the Holte starting everything.

    Full credit, keep on going!

Speaking as someone who overlooks the lower North from the Witton Lane, I can assure you the lower north don’t need any triggering from the Holte. They are very proactive in their own right. They generally give any away fans down there a good  verbal pasting 😊😊

Decent video from them, some great VLOGS are available for most teams but I have to say I'm not that impressed with any that cover villa, there's a space in the market.

Nonsense, there are some excellent  Villa vlogs, Villa on Tour, being the best of them in my opinion. The guy from Canada, The Holy Trinity Show, is another worth a shout, there are plenty more.

  6. How can you get a yellow in open play for time wasting. Players take a ball to the corner flag all the time to deliberately waste time, is that bookable now. First yellow should be rescinded. Just a two bob ref trying to make a name for himself.

I don’t really understand Israel’s position in terms of saying they will retaliate, surely someone like Iran could just flatten them if they really wanted to. are Iran not in a real position to do so? Or do nukes just trump everything.

Whenever tested ie their conflict with Saddam, the Iranian military have shown themselves to be remarkably inept.

At these fans forums Wagner and Cook have been telling their fans to not listen to the haters in reference to fans of other clubs and parts of the media, and saying it will only get worse the more succesful they become, Wagner even had 'FEA' as part of his presentation the other day, and made a big deal of it meaning 'F*** Em All' again in reference to the haters and doubters, all seems very propagandary to me, as if they're trying to condition their fans into not believing any media criticism that might come, also interesting to see them say there are going to be some decisions with regards to St Andrews that might not be popular, but their fans have to trust them, they're apparently spending a lot of money on it, despite the proposed ground move

He's a legit operator so it seems, they've partnered up with Oak View Group, got Tom Brady on board, Nike going to be making bespoke kits for them over the next two season, they've already done a lot of work on their training ground and stadium, I think it was something like £15m on the stadium with a further £20m planned before next season, and so and so on, so not saying he's some Tony Xia type me wouldn't have a clue about that anyway, but if was a fan of theirs I'd be slightly concerned by the amount of talking he does, usually the real besty owners just stay quiet in the background

He’s throwing peanuts to the monkeys. If they’re so committed, then why haven’t they even bought the total shareholding of the Chinese yet. He’s playing them for saps.

  9. The right are prospering, because too many people in society feel they have no stake in that society. They feel it has failed them, and in many ways it has, this engenders a feeling of, as in the words of Donald Trump, “what have you got to lose”. The right prosper when people start to despair and look for alternatives. Unfortunately the populist snake oil salesmen simply tap into that. Brexit was its ultimate manifestation. Leaving the EU was sold as a panacea for all peoples problems. It’s going to be a hard lesson people will learn.

Might just be me, but part of me hopes they get into the PL and become an actual rival.

Pessimistically (Sky 6, FFP, Revenue model), the best we can hope for is the odd CL qualification and the odd cup run.

Having a credible rival and 2 games per season with bragging rights would be awesome. Might make Chris Heck etc up their game as well with regards to stadium expansions / innovation.

    Yeah…….it’s just you.
