25mil + Ireland would be a good deal IF we are going to sell to Citeh. Maybe 24mil +Ireland+Richards.

I thought it was a good performance. Carew always looked dangerous in the first half. Agbonlahor was poor though, I would like to see Carew and Delfouneso start against Blackburn. Cuellar was excellent and actually defended like a right back should.

I wasn't really impressed with Carew tonight. He lost possession too easy and looked slow. I would like to see how Heskey would go given a decent run. Neither he nor Gabby were playing well in the second half of last season and with Gabby's current form I think Heskey may be a better partner than Carew. That being said we are lacking another quality striker. The team as whole did play quite well tonight.

Agree that NRC-Petrov-Delph will be most likely starting combination. Blackburn's CMs will be a little sore after the game I would suspect. I certainly wouldn't want to be chased around by a fired up NRC or a young, quick and aggressive Delph. What odds on MON subbing NRC if we need to bring on Carew?
