finished only murders in the building season 2, its ok, its definitely a step down but well worth watching if you enjoyed the first, id say its a 7/10 whereas the first was am 8/10, some of it is a stretch and convoluted to make it fit

so i need something new for tonight...anyone watched season 2 of the flight attendant? or keeper of the ashes?

Don’t bother with S2 of The Flight Attendant, it’s woeful.

S1 was decent, but the 2nd reeks of them making it up on the hoof, due to the popularity of S1.

We gave up after 3/4 episodes and I rarely knock a show on the head 1/2 way through, even if it’s bad.

Blasting my way through atlanta seasons 1 and 2 again so I can watch season 3 for the first time

Its such a weird show, the lack of story arc and continuity means it doesn't make a lot of sense at the best of times and then last night I watched Teddy Perkins again... For some reason it's great, it shouldn't work but it does, the 4 leads are all brilliant and it's littered with stand out moments that despite its largely depressing nature it's just an enjoyable watch

That said I had forgotten 90% of it

The Teddy Perkins episode is an absolutely amazing piece of TV. Genius.

I'm getting worried now. The jobs market in US was massively up ahead of projections. People are talking about a recession but it appears to be not a real recession as we had artificial growth which was temporary because of pent up demand caused by Covid. So this is just the economic activity dropping naturally now the spending wave has eased. This means the interest rate increases we've had aren't causing the slowdown it's just come down normally.

So why am I worried? I think inflation is sticky now which means it's in consumer psychology that if I put off a purchase it'll be more expensive next year so demand will stay high for everything. Once that has taken hold the only way to stop it is causing a bad recession, people losing their jobs, companies going out of business type recession and interest rates going to 4/5%+

I'm very worried that's what we're now facing.

Forget recession, it’s going to be a depression.

Ticket booked for the weekend so good to know it's enjoyable.

It’s so much fun and totally bonkers. All the jokes land and the pace of it is, relentless. Brad Pitt is great and it looks good too.

The negative reviews have reinforced my belief that critics just aren’t worth bothering with these days. I still have a gander at Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes, but I look at the see score, rather than the critics.

Each to their own and all that, but from what I've read (and seen) both Keene and Hall are supposedly very accurate to their real life counterparts.

I think it's great so far, really well written and superbly acted.

I’m with you and I think both leads have been superb, Egerton especially.

It remind me of True Detective, it has the same, slow burning, evil vibe to it. It’s superb.

Hows that likely to impact US share prices? The big ones in the S&P 500?

    *looks nervously at investment account*

0.75% was priced in, but those indexes are going to get smashed at some point.

The FED know this is going to get a lost worse and so does the BOA, the markets are just can kicking.

I’m short on the Nasdaq and FTSE and those positions are going to print, it’s just a matter of time. The data is there for all to see.

Going to get stuck into the Terminal List later, Book was excellent, Written by an ex-Navy seal so should be realistic

I’ve just started this. Good first episode.

Critic reviews put me off a bit, but user ratings are high and I quite like Chris Pratt. His character was a bit over the top, earnest, all American hero, but it was a decent first hour.

No. It really won't. At 27 Agassi had already won 3 slams.

He could win a major or 2. Or more. I’m not saying it’s going to happen, I’m saying it could 👍

Kygrios isn't fit to lick Agassi's boots.

Once Novax goes 2 sets up expect him to tank and abuse everyone

I wasn’t really talking about ability per say, more the rock star Vs the robot aspect of it. Agassi was very much the ‘bad boy’ in his early years, I mean he boycotted Wimbledon for three years, because he refused to wear all white! Agassi was also a show pony until he changed his mentality and used his obvious talent to greater effect, the same could happen to NK. It’s pretty obvious he has the shots.

  10. He (Kyrgios), reminds me of Agassi and Djokovic reminds me of Sampras.

Agassi didn’t really have the same anger management issues, but I used to love the way he upset the boring, stale, stuffy tennis fans with the bright clothes and outrageous shots. Sampras was boring robot, a bit like ND.

Assault accusation aside (accusation at this point, nothing more), I like Kyrgios and I hope he wins.

    The Orville - New Horizons.

Wow. This new series is really something else. More serious, more action packed, more emotional, more frightening. It's so well written, and so reminiscent of some of the best Next Generation episodes.

Amazing stuff. Billions of times better than any new Star Trek shows (except maybe Lower Decks which I love - haven't seen Strange New Worlds yet though).

I’ve not started the new ones yet, but really enjoyed the previous series. It’s not LOL funny, but it was a more than decent watch.

  12. Loopring popping (+19%) today on the launch of the GameStop wallet.

I made some nice returns on it’s run last year,  but my current holding is at a $1 average, so I need a serious pump to get back in the green.
