  1. Sunday 10:29 pm and 58/41%, Houllier to stay.
  2. And he hits me again, behind my back.
  3. Does that mean that you agree or disagree? I think it means you either didn't read or understand the post. The words "You would hope so." would indicate agreement, but your reponse offers only bafflement. Considering my state of mind at the moment (and in general) I think your posts are like what Churchill said about Russia. And comical too. But I'm a lazy reader and understanding never was my thing. Forget those last words. "Houllier out" clan OUT!
  4. I bet Houllier would like 60 before midnight too. I bet he had his wine and white bred and he'is in bed already. I hope. Bodymoor Heath at 9:00 AM tomorrow - a lot of defensive work to be done.
  5. Does that mean that you agree or disagree?
  6. Sunday 9:49 pm and 57/42%. C'mon guys, I want 60 before midnight.
  7. What he says to some reporter after the game I believe is quite different what he says to the players before the game, yes. You would hope so. For example, rednosedtwunt from trafford often tells the press that his players played brilliantly whilst rollicking the same players indoors. He has not however achieved the exceptional state of mind of professor houllier that tells the press he threw the match whilst jollying up the players indoors telling them they played the best they could. When we reach Champions League status, win the bloody thing and reach the semis each year, a couple of Premier League trophies, FA cup maybe League cup - after all that, when we have reached, achieved and built such a successful and powerful club culture, and a strong squad full of international star players - maybe then the manager might be able to say: "You useless scum, next match you are out!" and kick bottles hitting someone's noses, and the players would obey, not only because of the manager but the high standars, the high club culture, the importance of being in the starting XI, the importance of being the best, the 75000 spectators each home game, the 100+k/w salary ... then any exceptional state of mind professor like manager could have a red nose and do what he wanted. Until then we are not there yet, it might take a while ... And in the meantime the manager and rest of the staff must do their best to get the best out of the squad. (...did that make any sense?)
  8. Sunday 8:56 (that's pm) and 56/43%. No doubt about it, we want Houllier to stay!
  9. Maybe but the government still got elected even though the majority of the voters didn't want them. Lerner et al will be monitoring and gauging fans feelings. Whether they do anything about it is anyones guess. Would you please tell me what you think are RL's and GH's plans for this season? (Reading VT?) That's ironic coming from the person that keeps giving us updates on what the percentage is and what that "definitely" means... If that's ironic from me then it's ironic from anyone. Lerner et al will be monitoring but I bet your ass they have common goals with GH. Where is the irony? You mock another poster about RL and GH reading VillaTalk but you're the one posting updates as if what the poll means is fact. Pretty ironic from where I'm standing... And as for the poll, as I and many others have already stated, it is flawed. Lots of people have been voting "stay" because they want him to secure our PL status before getting the boot. There should be a third option, simple as that. 44 per cent or whatever it is, people who want him gone now, is a massive percentage. I'd guess it would be well over 50% taking into account the people who wanted to vote for the "third" option, but couldn't. If you are talking about irony it was someone else who brought it up. And I don't think I'm mocking anyone, the question I asked was appropriate (now I have used that word twice in one day). But I have to admit, the poll looks quite ... "acceptable" IMO at the moment, so as long as it is that way I'm enjoying it. If we lose (or draw) the next game it's all yours. And what the hell, if the poll - our poll - was 60% "Houllier out" you would say: "Majority want him out!" Right? RIGHT???? There would be no flaws in the poll, I'm sure.
  10. Keep the updates coming!!! Sorry, I ran out of beer two hours ago, I'm on white wine now and its working day tomorrow ... it's Monday isn't it? So... when this bottel is empty or if I meet fran or brumstopfrog again I'm out.

  13. I would like someone else to piss off, or I would like someone else's state of mind to piss off. Not at the end of season but now.

  15. That's what he told the media - after the game I presume. What really matters is what he thinks and tells to players before the match. Wouldn't you think?
  16. Sunday 7:52 (that's pm) and 54/45%. No doubt about it, Houllier is staying!
  17. Hey, what's going on? You win football matches if you play good football. Sport is about winning, ... and good football. You can't win football matches without good football. Ski jumping my ass. Bollocks!
  18. You ****, because of you I missed Liverpool vs. ManUtd.
  19. Sunday 6:23 and 52/48%. Clear majority, Houllier should stay!
  20. My point is, you take interviews too seriously. They mean nothing. They are just entertainment. Part of the media deal. You should know that. About this polar opposites: Probably lost in translation there. zzzzbbbbbuuuuuh I'm not english and I'm not English. And after this I'm probably on the black list (if not already?) I'mmmm ... **** it rant continues Houllier done a good job this far? - Depends. What his job is this season (?). Please, there really is no need for the quotathon, just quote the relevant post, no-one wants to read the same post again and again, it's especially irritating for people browsing on phones and other small devices ta - Bicks
  21. Expectations have sunk so low now that most now think that only Houllier can actually get this team to play possesion based football...... It's pretty sad really... You don't mean that. ? That seems to be the only defense for Houlliers pretty shambolic regime i hear from most - ie- we play decent football in patches . Forgive me if i think good football and results are not polar opposites and think theres plenty of managers who would not have us stilll talking of "staying up" in **** MArch with this squad and alienating himself with awful interviews and routinely shooting themselves in the foot Interviews are meaningless. Food for thought, yes. Would you consider your posts 100% informative in your your CV? If you want top4 finish, you shouldn't be so negative about good football. Without good football there will NEVER be top4 finish, And if you want Champions League football, good Premier League football isn't enough. We need good football. And we are improving ... err IMO. Thanks for contradicting yourself in the same post. You say "interviews are meaningless" which is the same as saying "what Houllier says about the team/performances is irrelevant" and yet, further down, you say "you shouldn't be so negative about good football." Right, so our manager being negative in interviews has no effect on anyone? But you are on here lecturing people about negativity? You really couldn't make it up! I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are saying, at all. For me what ever GH has said has not been negative, it has been realistic. And what ever GH has said in interviews it has been said to the media. And probably more or less unprepared because you don't know the questions before hand (although the questions will always be the same). Interviews ARE meaningless. You clearly believe everything that is said or written (for instance in The Sun)? Literally? There is always the result and the performance. You just watch the games and see it for yourself. If we play badly then you can blame the manager AND the players. And if you want GH out and you want GH out and the only thing you want is GH out then so be it, it makes no difference what I say. Results are the most important thing, I agree with you there. But if that's the only thing you're looking at then we ... we disagree.

  24. The majority of us think he should stay. Which majority you basing that on? Ha, Sun 3:32, it's 50/49! Have a read of my post earlier on this page and you might wish to retract that comment. Plus, as a cross-section of our support, the fact 49% want him gone now speaks absolute volumes. Oops, I missed that one. Read my post above.
