    Why? He played against them twice before. They mean Luke young mate. The situation is obviously his brother recently dying. I too hope he isnt in the stadium and doesnt watch it on tele. We gave them loads of stick for brady miscarrying and all the tracey andrews stick. These chants can become very harsh. No doubt there will be something going around the ground.

    Now now... Guzan is just 24 and in the games ive watched him play (in the flesh) he is constantly commanding his box talking to defenders comes to collect the ball very athletic knows no fear (his teeth getting kicked out when playing for USA) and makes himself big for one on ones. Very similar to Schmeichel at united. Under the influence of Big Brad I can honestly see him becoming one of the best keepers around. Not to forget he's already in the USA squad who are doing very well since he came into the squad. Not that he is the reason the whole team have progressed but someone has to stop the goals going in.

    I still prefer Carew as the lone striker to Gabby.

    4-5-1 with NRC - Petrov - Delph for me. Obvious wingers and Carew upfront. Our only striker who can actually finish.

    Heskey was playing so deep it looked like Salifou was on from the back of the Holte.

    I assume they wont be selling alcohol at the game as with all european games and isnt Holte pub only open to STs on matchday. Dont know if the alcohol ban will effect the pub as it is owned by AV. Im playing it safe and going the addies or the vine.

    Im a regular match attender but due to working most saturdays i dont bother with a season ticket. Prefer away days mainly.

    Hi General, I am new to the forums and just wanted to say hi. I think it is an amazing thing what you do here for the fans. I don't see any other club doing this and to do it on your own time just shows that you are really commited to the club. Ive heard glowing reports from the annual dinner and would just like to thank villa and all the staff for putting this on for the fans. I to hope we can carry on the acorns sponsership next season as it makes me feel proud to wearing the name across my chest. Many thanks, Ant
