  1. Still trying to work out the logic of playing a defence with no pace and using the tactic of a high line to compound their weakness. Was it three minute's to show the flaw in the system and 90+ to confirm that quick forwards had it beat all day. You have to have the players to play this system and being able to beat your granny in a foot race is part of the make up involved.
  2. Its a Russian roulette defence with six bullets in the chambers. The lack of pace in the backline was insane and only a matter of time to gift the goal's to the opposition. Game plan for failure.
  3. Would love the villa to get Benteke on the coaching staff to work with our forwards and especially with this kid, every time he gets on the pitch he looks like he wants to rip your head off.
  4. You will not beat top teams playing the high line with that midfield, just not enough work rate. We miss Ramsey's legs in the centre and the others have an issue with ratting. It's never about how many goals are scored due to the highline it's the sheer chaos and fear it cause's amongst our players and the rabbit in headlights that we adopt. Trying to compare the premier league with Spain is futile as the pace and energy needed is in totally different galaxy's . Unai has been great for this club but he needs a rethink of personal and tactic's, cannot get the bailey sub situation again.
  5. We got beat by kick and rush, same at Newcastle and will be the same against the better teams with pace. The highline is gifting games to sides with real pace and the midfield was over run by a team with legs which cried out for more support and we bring on bailey, merry christmas scousers we came belly up.
  6. Maybe we could play Hibernate every week and use it as a bar to compete in the Premiership.
  7. We missed the legs of Ramsey and the midfield just watched their new lad, show how it should be done. They were stronger faster and fitter than us in most departments, the high line was suicide on the day and why we never changed it got us a 5-1 drubbing. The way we fold so easily is a worry and until we get stronger, fitter and players with a mental capacity to fight now and again it will end this way. Men against boys.
  8. What a servant to this club, character, strength, knowledge and the ability to play in many position's. Would have liked for him to stay on the coaching side with the youth as an example of what can be achieved by using all your best qualities to push beyond your limits. Thank you Ashley Young for all those incredible games and all the best for the future.
  9. If we ever decide to defend the D that third goal does not happen.
  10. The extra time did for us , true to our nature the panic button was pressed.
  11. Brendon Rogers knew exactly what to do against us and our system, doubled up on Kamara pressed the ball out of defence and just waited for our mistakes. The defence was a shambles and Kamara's worst game, playing out from the back is for better players than we have and add to that they are slow learners all the opposition have to do is wait for Emi to think he is still playing with Argentina and send the suicide ball by the D for the attacking players to surround the ball and win it in a very dangerous area for a free shot at goal. We need better players with the ability to play this system or revert to something else and stop self harming in our penalty box. The Spanish way is light years away for this team.
  12. Thank god leeds do not have a striker and we had Kamara plus Ashley Young who is fast becoming Son of God. Both were on another level last night and the young pup for leeds got schooled and owned by veteran Ashley. We need more player's of this ilk and hopefully we can bring them in. A ding a ling a ling everybody sing That's Kamara
  13. Proving to be our most influential player and the first name on the sheet, at last we have the makings of a midfield if organised right could lead to a proper team. He looked up for every ball and knew what was happening around him at all time's a rare thing for our player's .
  14. Can we win the premiership with this new style of playing and new style of management, letting them play on their play station's all night.
  15. Unai Emery made a major mistake yesterday, he thought these players was professionals and learnt the same lesson as the previous managers. They play at training ground pace, most cannot hit a barn door and energy and commitment levels are left to other teams, tactically inept, lack of leaders and Diva personality traits for one or two. Character, responsibility, willing to fight for a cause or sweat blood are alien to this bunch. New players please because we know what this lot are capable of and will never play a team game.
  16. Our fitness levels are nowhere near for the premiership yet and to play two against three in midfield was another hurdle we put in our way. Why do we bother to cross a ball all game when we never win the heading duel's, meat and drink for the opposition and begger's belief why we have a set piece coach. We have to learn faster and be smarter as our tactics going forward just doe's not suit our attack.
  17. We had a two against three in midfield last night and it showed. A Ding a ling a ling everybody sing That's Kamara
  18. We missed McGinn's workrate yesterday and the midfield got overun in the first half.
  19. Bosnich, McGrath, Mortimer, Morley, Benteke
  20. When the moon hits your eyes Like a big pizza pie That's Kamara When the world seems to shine Like you had too much wine That's Kamara
  21. Was that Dessy Bremner out their tonight The guy is a dream to watch, Allows others to play.

    Pelé

R.I.P Pele a true legend and great man. Saw him in the Santos game and a memory that lasts for my life.
  23. That shootout was like Jesse James firing real bullets and Sid James firing blanks.
  24. What was plain to see against pool was the lack of a leader and sometimes you have to wonder does the manager set up to expose the shortfalls in our defence. We do not have a good centre back on the park at the moment and therefore we are torn apart by speedy opposition and easy tactics mix that with a lack lustre midfield and a non producing attack force the only answer is new players. Faster, stronger, aggressive and mentally stronger team players please Mr Emery who would rather fight for the cause rather than submit to feeling sorry for themselves.
  25. Playing the high line was playing to Liverpools strengths, they always had the better attack force than us and with Ramsey missing that energy in the middle was lacking. Luiz was a passenger in the game and Buendia and bailey were just out muscled, Seems the old excuse was rolled out after the game, we are still learning the managers way of playing, sounds familiar from the last two managers and responsibility removed from poor players. We were outgunned in a pistol fight.
