  1. Im 18 and have been to over half (48 to be precise). I don't know whether that is sad and/or cool but i'm quite proud. I guess that is the advantage of following a lower league team, as the majority of Villa fans would never dip out of the prem, excpet for cup ties.
  2. Thee possible rail replacement buses that people are mentioning what line are these from? If im getting the train up from Northampton into New Street then onto Aston will the second part be a bus journey tomorrow?
  3. I don't know what different tatics people want MON to play. With Gabby and Carew/Heskey up top, you have the option to ball the ball into space for Gabby, which we didn;t to enough until the second half, or up into the feet of Carew, which we did a few times and he wasn't on form tonight. I'm sick and tired of seeing Cuellar playing at right back. I don't care whether he plays at CB instead of Collins or not, but don't try and play him where he doesn't belong. You cannot play a game involving wide men with him as a right back, he can't pass and just cannot cross. Other than that, oh and i hate Downing and think he is awful but some disagree with that, Ash was lucky to stay on for what was an awful challenge on Pineear.
  4. Getting the train to this one, when we normally drive, hope they aren't all on strike.
  5. Yeah all the services that involve Wembley Park that come up as closed are open on the sunday. SO going all the way into central London shouldn't be a problem.
  6. I would try and get as far as the tube network. Any trains going through High Wycombe having left Brum would, i presume, be absolutly heaving. Watford Junction is the start of the overground line direct to Wembley Central, but i have no idea what the parking is like, if theres much and how much they charge.
  7. Just get the London Overground service to Wembley Central and walk to the stadium. It usually leaves from platform 9 every 20 mins and takes around 20 mins also Thats what I will do and nearly always do when going to Wembley, infact i think i may even be driving as far as Watford by a mate, so it won't affect me. It's just bizarre they have done this when the transport police etc have said to do it that way. It also now means Watford Junction will be heaving if all the mancs are changing there.
  8. Nice, so no service form Euston Square to Wembley, surely this isn't right. All trains from Manc and some from Brum end up at Euston, and that leaflet the transport police issued told everyone to from Euston Square to Wembley Park.
  9. I would be amazed if on your way out of Wembley after the game you had your tickets checked. Certainly if you booked an advanced and were perhaps a bit late, i'm certain they would let you off. But as I say, it is normally so busy you don't get your tickets checked/ if they are they are leniant on time, although obvously there would be nothing to stop them giving you a fine. The faster Virgin trains from new street don't stop at Wembley itself. Your best and cheapest bet if you wanted that would be to go as far as Watjord Junction and then get the overground in to Wembley as this avoids the additional few quid of going through central London.
  10. Driving to Wembley itself is almost certainly out of the question. But as mentioned, you can park at any number of stations and get the tube/train in.
  11. Isn't Chiltern railways the one that runs right next to Wembley. As in Wembley overground station. I could have sworn they do direct trains back on match days from that station, it does get very busy, but they have the queues well sorted and the station is at the very most 15 minutes from leaving your seat.
