I have invested to much money in my brolly to be swayed by the court of opinion. I keep it safely locked in the boot of my car where it remains until the day my commute changes from car to train.

I think this is a minority view. I let the trainers comment regarding Avril Lavigne slide as you were probably right but brollies, are you 10? Brollies are a completely normal thing to carry especially if you have a commute that involves walking to the train station.
  3. My wife is making some great food at the moment, Jambalaya, Pastitsio, chicken vindaloo. I say great. It looks great. I am not having it because I surpassed all weight gain expectations over Christmas and am dieting.
  4. No nor I. But in all fairness to me I own a Shack album and only till you posted last year I didn't know that they were linked as Shack are a completely different beast. I have took this off topic. Them royals hey!
  5. A quick search on these and see the Pale Fountains tenuous link. Jeans Not Happening is transporting me back to the 80s. I bloody loved that record. So good. Really rated From Across The Kitchen Table. I was a little young in 1984 but I think 1986 I bought them from Langlands in Wellington, Telford. On a whim. Fantastic stuff.
  6. Weirdly I never ever get people saying that I look young for my age. Which was a bonus in pubs at 15. Not so much now.
  7. David I view it in Safari on my iPhone and done have any display or Navigation issues.
  8. I think the concensus is with you on that. I really enjoyed it. Went in with the experience of Gattiss and Moffatts work on Sherlock so was expecting a lot of them taking liberties with the viewers patience. For me it was good but I believe I am in the minority.
  9. A couple of films yesterday. Fighting with my family. No interest in Wrestling as I am an adult but this was enjoyable. Surprised that it was based on a true story and all in all entertaining hoakum. Last night another rewatching of the 2001 version of Oceans 11. Love that film, never get tired of it.
  10. Man who gets paid by his nan and his dad for doing **** all, wants to retire from doing **** all. The BBC are as bad as the tabloids for all of their worthless speculative crap. Someone must care but no one with a full set of marbles will.
  11. I will be 50 this year. In celebration I wake up and a random part of my body hurts like hell, for no apparent reason. My right knee today, oh and my back. No reason why they should, just my body saying "ha dickhead, think dancing like a clearing in the woods at Blast Off in the 90s doesn't have consequences. Think again."
  12. I am of a similar mind. He has a good greatest hits that could maybe be a single CD. I really like 3 of his songs and think around 10 others are pretty good.
  13. He has just been **** awesome in The Good Place.

I used to have that mug. My wife the freak still has it somewhere
  15. Watched Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. It mocks itself very well, however it comes way way down in my Kevin Smith list but one to watch if you are a fan of his work and the View Askewniverse.
  16. From, the forgotten by myself, William Bloke. One to put into the car next week.

It's a conundrum to me. On the one hand I hate the royals but on the other the daily mails hatred of her specifically irritates me.

    The '20s

This thread is that fella at work you say morning to on a Monday and ask if they had a good weekend only for them to detail how bad their weekend was and not say anything along the lines of "yeah not bad, yours?"
