delph can play in any midfield position he wants the bloke is that good!good tackler,quick,energetic,enthusiastic,great shot,good feet,skillful and best of all a wand of a left foot!i think im in love with him lol

dont rush him back!worst thing you can do!i dislocated my knee and tore my acl and pcl and havent played in nearly 3 years!giving him an extra month or two is really goin to increase his chances of not tearing the acl again so in the long run the best thing for us is just to give him the time needed!gonna be a great player for us!

hi general i was just wondering how fabian delph is coming along in his rehabilitation?also now with the milner deal pretty much wrapped up will any of the transfer money be used to try and add to the squad this transfer window?thanks alot randy and yourself are both doing a fine job at this club

really cant wait for delph to come back now!already getting excited about the prospect of him and ireland in the middle,albrighton on the right downing on the left ash young just sitting behind gabby,so much pace and young british talent!i no i will get slated for this cos petrov is our captain but delph is his natural replacement and has the ability to be an absolute monster if he comes back from his acl injury 100%

i for one will be absolutely gutted until will bring in at least a couple of these players,ireland,parker,richards,clyne,keane,hart,bellamy or huntelaar!until then its not looking like such a promising season for us

hi general,hope everythings well with you and id just like to say its really good of you to give up your time to come on here and speak to the fans!i couldnt see anyone of your position doing this at other clubs!i have 2 questions this peace cup we are in are any of the destinations been announced yet where the games will be played as i havent booked a holiday yet and would like to book somewhere where i could watch the villa play? also will we be getting a new home kit next season because i only have the away kit and was thinking of getting the home kit but there is no real point is we will be renewing for next season?

general you are correct about us showing them to much respect,if you show teams like that to much respect they are going to hurt you with the added quality they possess!i really feel we needed a extra man in midfield cos that is where to the game was and lost.it was just one of those days they seemed to win all the 50/50's and whenever the ball went loose it always seemed to end up with one of there players.i no a villa loss always hurts but with the other teams dropping points it actually ended up a good wknd for us! general may i ask how many people are you expecting to be at the stoke game?i live in bedfordshire so its a bit of a drive and was just going to get the tickets before the game if there wasnt a chance of it being a sellout!

hi general this is the first of many posts i hope to make on this site,just thought id comment oh what a great job i think everyone is doin at aston villa football club it really makes me proud to support such a great club.im a 23 yr old lad whos always been jealous of other clubs success since ive been alive and for the first time im really getting excited about where the club is going. with us having the acorns charity on our shirts and a squad built up of young english players it really makes me proud to be a fan.I think that people do need 2 have a reality check tho cos if we do come 4th this year it will be such a big achievement but with all the talk of us getting the 4th spot and how much media coverage we have been getting i feel that most people will feel let down if we dont get 4th spot,i for one still think it will be a extremely successful season if we get the 5th spot meaning we have progressed each year martin urself and randy have been here.sorry 2 go on a bit i just wanted 2 get across how well i think u are all doin and keep up the good work
