As a few have stated McLeish was giving Hutton a lecture on his ball composure, yelling at his squad to push up and not sit so deep. We were under so much pressure mostly due to our inability to string a couple of passes together or players being absolutely gassed. So just for today think McLeish earns just a little credit. The whole back 5 though did superb, think Hutton stopped something like 4+ crosses from ever passing him. Well worked.

Any excuse to have a dig eh I'm serious though. I was ecstatic when we signed Bent as I knew he was exactly what We needed. Initially he got the service and scored a lot of goals for us. Then McLeish comes in and isolates him on the pitch with his horrible tactics. It really angers me that there's a chance that Bent could leave in the summer having only had a few months of good form, all because of McNegative's negative tactics. I wouldn't strictly put it on his tactics, think the loss of Young, Downing, and NRC had more to do with it.

Flying up to Portland, beyond excited. Portland always provides a great atmosphere plus they have the dude with the chainsaw.

I tend to visit nike stores both here in Las Vegas and in California a lot and I have yet to find a single AVFC product. I have found plenty of FC Porto though. Could be less bothered with this move. Nike never cared for us.

How the **** is this on McLeish. Players should be holding their hands up on this one. But **** our defenders did superb in the first half lost count on how many passes we intercepted, straight up nullified everything they threw at us.

You must love the trophy system. If you are as terrible as you say just use a submachine gun with kick and rapid fire, should improve your game.

I do find it unacceptable for Villa fans to wish injuries on their own players. I agree with Briny Ear but for Heskey I will forget my principles! :winkold: He was grabbing his hamstring prior to being subbed out!

Didn't Bannan have to get liquid stitches on his heel while on Scotland duty, I reckon thats why he didn't start. Plus we didn't have Collins out there. Oh well. On to the next game.
