Doubled from what, do we have numbers on the last deals?

And is that even comparable to any of the “big 6” deals

    It was pitiful before.

For example, front of shirt went up from £8m to £20m.

Lowest of Bix 6 are spurs at £40m...some others at over £60m

I think we will beat Chelsea convincingly, they may have Palmer but we have Ollie, Bailey , Rogers and Diaby. We are so strong all over pitch and we are on fire form wise. We have a rest as well, Emery signing a new deal. 8pm Saturday night at Villa Park. Crowd will be rocking, 3 nil to villa, Ollie getting a hat-trick. UTV, believe.

I wouldn't say we're on fire. We keep conceding a lot of chances and only last week we had our worst performance for months.

I would say we are very inconsistent, capable of performance like in 2nd half against Arsenal, but equally capable to not show up at all like against Lille away.

It's 50/50 if we show up against Chelsea. And if we don't, they will spank us like last time around.

Over the last 10 games they are 7th (16pts) and we are fourth (20pts). I'm not saying it will be an easy game, just questioning why it would be a 'surprise' if we won given that we've already beaten them (and much better teams) this season.

Yet they outplayed us in all 3 games we played them this season (apart from 30 minutes when they went down to 10men)

Reported as £40m over two years - which I suspect is more than we currently get for all three of our kit properties - the manufacturer, the main sponsor and the sleeve - combined.

    It's a step up.

20m per year, Big step up from £8m we are getting now. Still room to grow IF we keep up our performances and the exposure that comes with it.

Spurs are getting £40m and Newcastle £25m (but this might be slightly inflated due to it being related party, still it needs to be in the ballpark though  to avoid scrutiny).

will out conference league run also help us earn more in europe next season. I saw that United took c50m from the champions league this year vs Newcastle taking c25m despite both going out in the group stages. I believe this was all down to co-efficient

Eventually yes, but not necessarily next season yet. It's your coefficient sum over last 5 or 10 years, I think it's 10 but not 100% on that , so you need to steadily build it up over time.

i think we 100% need (aka: genuine must have):

Defensive Mid - Kamara wont be back until christmas, and probably wont be back up to speed/fitness until new year, we need a quality DM to both fill the gaping hole at DM, and tbh also compete with Kamara when he returns (in some games we might even play Kamara and the new DM as a holding two, who knows).

Right Back - Emery might keep Konsa at RB?, but either way, we need a quality right back to compete with Cash, or provide the ability for Konsa to go to CB and not leave Cash as the only genuine option at RB (thats assuming Kosta - the new young RB, isnt ready to offer genuine first team competition yet).

I think everything else is a nice to have, and i could reel off 3 or 4 other positions i would "like", but i think those two are absolutely critical.

DM cover can be plugged in with a loan (like we did with Lenglet).

Emery could conclude that combination of Cash, Konsa and Kosta might be enough. Me might get someone, we might not...my hunch is we are only gonna get new RB if we see Cash leave.

What will be interesting to know is how much extra wages the players get for being in Europe. They have to play more games and there are more incentives into contracts so clubs better balance income and wages.

Even if it's just a 10% bonus, which doesn't sound too excessive, it's £20m... Equal to whole conference prize money.

Leicester recorded £22 mill in their accounts for their recent run in the conference - I thought that was loads...

That was for Europa League group stage and Conference playoffs.

What are you including in there?

An additional seven home games, prize money and TV income should make us a reasonable amount and the exposure should help in terms of our visibility and presence for sponsors.

About £20m for winning ecl is the prize money from uefa. AFAIK there's no separate payments for broadcast, it's all bundled together in that £20m + anything we can make on match days from punters.

It's not pure profit though. Cost base goes up as well (bonuses paid to players, increased operating expenses etc.)

I think that will be the case for quite a few of their players.  Seems to happen to team like Lille, Monaco, Ajax etc.  They build a great team, then sell them all.

They're not a great team though...4th in the league and knocked out in QF of Conference. They are a decent side, no more than that.

The number of aimless crosses and through balls they played yesterday was telling. We were so bad yesterday that any really good team would put us out of the competition.

Teams like Ajax you bringing here as a comparison got to Champions League final before they got disassembled.

So what's the PSR/SCR rules for next season 2024/25?

UEFA rules for clubs in Europe are 90% of revenue?

PL rules is 90% for clubs not in Europe and 80% for clubs in Europe?

    Something like that isn't it?

No, still current psr rules will apply.

At least according to today's article in The Athletic.
