I hate Phil Dowd! Thats the bit of luck we needed to win, Man utd did play better over the 90 minutes but we started brightly and if Vidic was sent off I think this thread wouldnt even exist because we would be celebrating!! But on a happier point we played well, held are own against world class opposition if we can perform like that for are remaining games in the league it will be an even better season. UP THE VILLA!!!

As far as im concerned this season is a success even if we finish 6th! I could never have imagined us pushing for champions league spot but we have and shown how well we can play with the smallest squad in the top four. I think there is far to much negativity from fans they should all be proud off how far we have come it wasnt that long ago when we were finishing 16th!! Plus we are not out of the race for fourth spot yet,it only takes one good result and we will be off and running again.

Great Article PB,I think Villa play some of the best football in the league fast counterattacking football and full of creative talent in the midfeild and a solid gritty defence and Gabby and Ashley young are fantastic,who wouldnt want them pair in thier team at the moment! Completeley disagree with Mowbray i was at the game and west brom kept the ball for long periods i nearly fell asleep ,soon as we got the ball i woke up we went forward and everytime i thought villa were going to score and we do look like a top side even if it wasnt the best football we played last week it was 10 times better than west brom.

Ive been a Villa fan all my life My family call me a glory hunter for supporting villa because im originally from south Birmingham and u r supposed 2 support that crap team in blue so u can never win 2 be honest.There does seem 2 be a trend though if a team is doing well. I live in Aberdeen and u never see villa fans up here but since MON took over and we r up there challenging 4 the top 4 there has been a few people wearing villa shirts,at least im not the only fan up here!! More fans = more money 4 the villa so it can only be a good thing.
