Kid is 2.5 years younger than JJ playing in a tougher position. Already hauled ass to win us 3 points against Wolves off his own boot. When he does play it’s in small bursts off the bench or more or less playing without some big names who’d make him better. Arguably coulda had 2 goals if not for some decent goalkeeping. Tough crowd, kids gonna be a jet.

Honestly the prospect of the academy players getting some minutes excites me more than 3 additional signings. Happy with who we’ve got, not opposed to 1 or 2 more, but the thought of A Ramsey, JPB and Archer getting minutes is cheaper, more exciting and less risky. If the Donks and Chambers of the world are happy to stick around and play their role to facilitate that, that’s even better.
