Pressure was on Arsenal last week. It's on us for Sunday.
Hopefully we can withstand and come away with the right result, as we are more than good enough.

Villa are now the only English club left in Europe!
Wouldn't have predicted this, I must admit.

I'll be honest it was a hairbrained suggestion at best
If only we were all as honest and reflective as you this board would be a better place

all Cup games should be played at the lower league teams ground. Levels the playing field, more chance of an upset, home team gets the gate receipts. If a draw is made and its two teams from same league, then a draw is made as to where it is played
I like this in theory but means a few hundred Villa fans would get to see us in the cups each year. Majority would never have the chance.

Wow. So original. A true visionary. Thank you for gracing us all with your genius.

I haven’t enjoyed watching a single minute of this, even when we scored I thought it would be chalked off. Lille have been much better than us, we have passed to them regularly and the ref has been beyond wank.
Correct

Fiorentina winning. If we play like this against them, we get absolutely mashed.
-
Ref is an absolute kant

Well this has been massively depressing.
The refereeing is highly suspect. Who books Unai?
Besides all that, why is Diaby so **** shit so often?

Silva's penalty wasn't that bad, just a cracking gamble by the keeper not to dive.
I still can't believe he took Haaland off, all he needs is a half chance and you can vary your attacks a bit more when he is there. City did nothing in extra time. Plus he'd have taken a penalty.
Pep's ego is beautifully self defeating
word removed.

Wow!
Villa could be the last English team left in Europe after tomorrow...

Turns out it’s harder to score lots of goals against elite European teams than it is Burnley, Sheff Utd and Luton.
Btw - they scored 4 goals against Newcastle, 6 against West Ham (how many did we manage?), and 3 against Liverpool. Not just relegation fodder, eh.

How droll.
We're not talking about lots are we?
The OP was talking about them failing to score 1.
The amount of low-hanging fruit responses on this board sometimes, jesus.

Nobody in this arsenal team has a goal in them
Which is bizarre given how many goals they were scoring every game not long ago.

Jesus wept. Some of this squad are made of **** glass, man.

FA cup semi final, they were due to play chelsea
Other clubs have midweek games during the period in question. Plus/or Europe matches. Spurs do not. There's no excuse for 2 weeks of no football for any club at this stage of the season, honestly, let alone one with games in hand

They've got 6 in 21 days from 28th April to 19th May, they will be knackered
Not saying it's a bad thing for us and I've zero sympathy for them but it's ridiculous from the league. Could just as easily be us next season. Stupid and avoidable.
-
WTF is with Spurs' 15 day gap between games? They already have 1 in hand over most teams and they've got more than 2 weeks off?
Prem schedule sorely needs looking at.

Great. Can we follow this up with getting rid of completely redundant and useless Linesmen/Linespeople now please? They're making a mockery of the whole thing by standing there with their flags down for 40 seconds waiting for players to gas themselves or potentially get injured, then they flag when the ball goes dead.
If technology can call offsides automatically then get rid.

We're not **** Everton
Didn't say we'd lose 6-0. I said Chelsea have hit form at the worst time for us. Try to keep up.

What did you post before the Arsenal game? Probably usual negative slant
Nothing because they didn't trounce anyone 6-0
Thanks for your input Emmett

**** Chelsea coming good just in time to face us. Ugh.

We haven't made a Betano announcement.
We haven't made an Adidas announcement for that matter.
In fact we haven't announced we've cancelled the North Stand.
Announcements isn't really our thing.
Club Announcement: There will, under no circumstances, be any further announcements.

Doesn't a card have to be physically shown to a player and their name written down?
This goblin of a ref did neither. He took the card out, then Luiz came over before he could flash it, then he told him to **** off and then put the card away again.
How exactly is that booking someone?
I honestly think these **** modern referees are touched in the head. They act like shell-shocked war vets sometimes, they lose the rag under seemingly innocuous circumstances half of the time and expose themselves as clearly not understanding the rules of the game the other half. **** nuts.
